@steevc just finished a 5.43km run, that lasted for 33 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 407.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
I am back in Portsmouth as my child just graduated and so the place is busy. I wanted to do a run here as it is nice by the sea. We are staying at the old Queen's Hotel. I headed into the old town where they still have some of the old walls that defended the port. I ran up the steps to go along the top. I ended up at a tower that was a dead end. There were some people having a morning swim below.

Then I headed east to Southsea. The work in the sea defences has moved along since our last visit. I went as far as the D Day museum before heading into town. The street art is by a well known local artist.

I have got to know this place quite well, but I do not know when I will be back again. After my shower I am going for a hearty hotel breakfast.

Run free.

Loved this little travel log, Steevc—such a vivid picture of Portsmouth life, old walls and all! Sounds like a perfect mix of reflection, history, and fresh sea air. Hope that hotel breakfast was as hearty as it sounds. 🥞

Safe travels until next time!
Many congratulations on the graduation!! 🎉

It's a historic place and still has military stuff going on. I've been there a lot over the last few years.

Is this at a constant pace? or do you do intervals?

This was fairly constant. I do intervals sometimes on other outings.
