@steevc just finished a 7.17km run, that lasted for 44 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 572.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
I had to work late last night to fix some urgent issues. When I finished at 8pm I was ready to head to the pub for our fortnightly music session. That was great. I was doing some accompaniment on some folk and jazz tunes as well as singing some songs. As I went to bed I heard some sirens and some cars going very fast through the village. I see on the local groups that there was a chase going on and the helicopter was out too. Not sure if they caught anyone.

This morning was lovely and I opted to head over the railway and across the fields for some peace and quiet. I did encounter a big tractor that stopped so I could get past. I went over to RAF Henlow for the first time in a while. This was one of the earliest UK air bases and still has an old pillbox.

Everything is quite dry out there, so the fields are not muddy. My work are doing a May activity challenge, so I will try to clock up some extra distance on my runs and will log some walks too. I may even get the bike out.

I do have some lingering body niggles. My lower back aches a little and I get some twinges from my right foot, but the running was okay. I will try to stay active anyway.

It's our hottest day of the year so far and no sign of rain. You can always walk in the rain if you dress for it.

Wow, I thought chases like that only happened over here!

We get our share of crooks, but at least they will rarely be armed. I often hear cars flying past at well over the speed limit. That is dangerous as there are a lot of parked cars near us as some people have no driveway. There have been instances of cars flipping or hitting houses. We are far enough from the road to be fairly safe.

Yikes! That does sound scary! We just had a truck run through the gas station in our town the other day.

Sometimes it's just dumb people who can't drive properly.

Yeah, I heard the commotion too. They posted the local crime stats in the local magazine (of which no longer gets delivered to my area), a load of crap! Either nothing is getting reported or they are complete lies! Good one on the run, it's a hot one today as well.

If there's a chase through Arlesey they just need to block all the roads, but I guess they have limited police cars. Some day someone will get killed by those speeding through. I think a lot of minor crime doesn't get reported, but it can be worth it. That case where someone was trying to get into cars resulted in a conviction.

I need my runs and I prefer to do it before it gets too warm. It's a nice route over to the camp and back via the meadow where there are often horses. None there today though.

Cool. Yeah I know that it brings house prices down, etc. listening to pink Floyd's album 'wish you were here' for the second time today! Getting off of using my phone for music as I have lots of very good CDs.

Yes, I listen to the three main pink Floyd albums, cds, multiple times a week, daily some weeks.
(Dark side of the moon, wish you were here, the wall), Danielle has said that I should do an album like the wall, I have split my songs to be recorded into 3 albums, Castaway II, which are lovey dovey songs, the white horse, which are random songs, and Demo-Lution, which has protest/ dystopian songs.

I like Animals and Meddle too. I've been listening to a lot of King Crimson as I'm reading a book about them.

I want to do another album some time, but need more songs. Sounds like you have plenty. I come up with ideas, but then don't do anything with them as I don't find time.

Time is where I shine! Lots of it to spare, mostly I try to stay as relaxed as possible, and have mastered the art in fact.

In Oman, we have never seen such a chase!! It must be an exciting event, not for the culprit 😀!

I hope that the soreness in your body goes away soon!

Well at least I can still run, so it can't be too bad.

We hear sirens here at most hours, and a very annoying sound, also accidents on the wet roads. Yesterday they narrowed the road to one lane, and as we drove past, we saw a car, or what was left of it that rammed into a truck at the back.
Such is life.
