Morning Run: Stiff
@steevc just finished a 6.98km run, that lasted for 42 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 499.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
I was at our fortnightly pub jam last night. I was not expecting it, but lots more people turned up, including some of the @theriverkicks so we could play some folky tunes together. As there were so many I did not get to do as many solo tunes, but then I had not prepared anything as I just play drums at home and hardly touch the guitar.
I was feeling a bit stiff and achy this morning, but went out anyway. The sun was shining and there was a slight chill in the air. After feeding the chicken I set off for my usual loop. I was not feeling like doing any intervals today.
I just went with whatever pace I could manage and I did speed up as I went along. The running actually makes me feel better and forget my aches. It was quite quiet out there so I could just enjoy some podcasts (Drum with Mike and Eddy, Somewhere On Earth. Late Night Linux).
I was able to run down the hill at a decent pace and that felt good. I saw my friend Graeme heading out for his run. He is doing longer distances and is quicker than me. This was a little slower than some recent runs, but not too bad.
After breakfast and a shower I set up the bread machine to make me a loaf for lunch. That will be solar powered on this sunny day.
Run free.

You are doing well 👍
I always feel a bit better on the days that I work out versus the days that I don't. It's kind of crazy that you have almost transitioned fully away from the guitar. That's what you were really known for when I first started on here.
I was 'the geeky guitarist', but I'm not playing so much. That's partly due to working on drums, but also due to muscle issues with my picking hand that will probably not improve. I still have my guitars and will play what I can. I want to record more of my songs and will play on those.
Ah yeah, I forgot about your issues with your hand. I guess that makes sense.
I admire your motivation sir. You are doing great 👍
Indeed, being active makes us feel better. Last weekend, I had about 30k steps and even I gave some weight :)
Great workout, Steve! Even though you were feeling a bit stiff and achy, you managed to run for 42 minutes! Incredible!

Solar powered. That's the advantage of this tech, the sun does the energy provision. The hardest workouts I have are those that come after a night of extra unexpected activities so I can imagine exactly how you felt making the steps . Awesome work man
A la realidad se ve un buen clima ..bonitos campos
