Satire for Shoes

With these lines my shoes will fit tightly

shoes are believed to be pieces of footwear

they assume that they protect their compadre the foot

they provide beers and comfort

shoes are not for walking

less for running or jumping

they are peeled with sole through the sole of the foot

some think they are super heroes made of leather

others defend rubber as their mother

shoes don't like the ankle

shoes abandon you when you need them

mine are broken and without stitching.
