My nephew is running a PR agency. A Public Relations (PR) profile refers to the reputation and public image of an individual, company, or organization. PR professionals work to establish and enhance a positive public image, ensuring the entity is viewed favorably by its target audience. The USP of his agency is that it handle only political client. My nephew has a number of politician who make use of his agency to build their reputation in public. And my nephew is making use of social media account to enhance their clients reputation. For him social media is a great way to reach vast audience. Infact most of his political client wanted to make use of the country young talent in this field to reach to maximum youth generation. Social media is proving to be a great platform to increase the political reach.

The PR involves building and maintaining a positive public image, which can be achieved through activities like press releases, social media engagement, and media relations. In essence, a PR profile aims to influence public perception and increase awareness of a client's work and goals. Social media has a vast reach among the youth of my country. They are spending good amount of time over #instagram #twitter or #facebook. Political parties seeing it as an oppurtunity to make their impression by showcasing their work and good deeds over social media platform. By doing so they are trying to create a good Image over the youth which constitutes Tha majority of voter.

I have been with my nephew a number of times in meeting with various political leader. They seems to encash the technology towards their image betterment. They alwsys wanted to highlight the good deeds. They wanted to cover every public meeting on social media. This makes my nephew job quite tedious. But at the same time I learned the various tricks of social media. Many social media platform offer paid promotion services. My nephew knew about these and making use of these services for their own purpose. By availing the services he can easily garner hundered or thousands of likes on any post. Increasing the popularity if any candidate. This made me to doubt on success in the long run.

The tactics is great but in India there is a popular saying that "Public knows everything". Which makes the public the actual ruler. The day They comes to know the fake promotion practices or any bad behaviour of their candidate, they go against them. Making their success to minimal. But seeing the current trend. Everyone is up on the cat and mouse race. Trying to get ahead on the technological front by promoting themselves through social media account. My nephew is too concerned about his business and making profit rather than enhacing the candidate real image.
