Shaping young minds and nurturing dreams. #gratefuleducators
Schooling is an important stage of a person life. It is the part of the life that a person find a teacher in their life. Parents and teachers have different roles in a child's life, but both are important and can contribute to a child's development. Parents are a child's first role model, teaching them to speak, walk, and behave. Children often imitate their parents' behavior and reactions. Teachers are responsible for a child's education, providing knowledge and guidance. They help children develop social skills, learn early concepts, and become independent learners. Teachers also prepare students for standardized tests and enforce classroom rules. Teachers are considered to be building block of the society.

A positive relationship between parents and teachers can help a child learn and grow. Parents can support teachers by communicating with them and showing up to school to celebrate their child's achievements. Teachers play an important role in students' lives and in society by:
Educating: Teachers impart knowledge, critical thinking skills, and practical abilities to help students navigate the world. They also expose students to new ideas and topics.
Mentoring: Teachers guide students' learning and personal growth. They help students assess their strengths and weaknesses, and teach life skills like communication, compassion, and organization.
Inspiring: Teachers inspire a love of learning and personal growth through their enthusiasm and dedication. They also motivate students to pursue their dreams.
Modeling: Teachers are role models who influence students' academic growth and shape their values and character.
Connecting: Teachers connect with their communities and students. They build partnerships that enhance society's well-being and help students feel cared for and valued.
Preparing for the future: Teachers prepare students for success by helping them recognize their potential and explore it. Their influence is felt long after the final lesson, and can be observed in academic decisions and other choices made later in life.
Finding a good teachers has alwsys a tough task for parents. In todays time, when teaching sector is more of a money making business model, finding a true teacher is headache. This resulted in some bad performances by young kids. We often end up finding excuses to blame teachers for children poor performance. I remember, a school friend of mine who never performed well in academics. He is one such boy who often roams around and never care for his studies. Even the teachers complain to their parents, but of no positive results. And that boy failed.
Teachers are not the only ones responsible for student success. Students are also responsible for their own learning and should take ownership of their actions. Teachers and students should work together to achieve positive outcomes. Students can seek out additional resources, ask questions, and participate in their education. Students who take responsibility for their learning can improve their academic performance and sense of confidence.
Teachers also have a critical role in student success. They are responsible for:
Providing resources, support, and guidance
Delivering quality instruction
Fostering a positive learning environment
Addressing individual student needs
Teacher accountability is important because it encourages teachers to stay updated on best practices, adapt to evolving educational methodologies, and engage in professional development. Teachers and students can work together to create a positive learning environment. Teachers can address the needs of students who are working below grade level, or who require accommodations due to learning or physical disabilities.
'One hand cannot clap' is a famous proverb. It means that no mistake is made by just one side, but both sides are at fault.

Sadly many parents in the US these days feel it is the teachers job to do everything for their child. They do very little of the work that is required at home to turn their kids into functioning adults. On top of that, teachers are almost reviled and hated here. It's gotten quite bad.
