What a special day, to share thoughts on our parents and their contribution in giving us life and all the things they did for our upbringing. It is my Dad's Birthday today, who would be celebrating first time in heaven. Parents are usually right in many aspects and have lived through many of the things that we are now living through. Without their guidance, thoughts and support we would not be the person what we are today. For sure we can never be like them, but their presence around us is always a blessing. I am very thankful not to have toxic parents. But even the toxic one too care for their children. Parents are always there to guide us, to teach us and to correct us in our mistakes to live a respectful life. They are our first teacher, the all important building blocks of our life. In. O way any parents want to have a weak foundation to their kids.

They are the gems of the yesteryear, who have lived through different phases and successfully handled tough situation. We need to learn how to live our own lives in our own way but with support from them. I personally believe that they are always right in their approach to life. Their insight to life of different situation and vast experience over the years made them an ideal choice to seek guidance before making any decision.

An Important Lessons Learned.

With the changing lifestyle and fast paced modernization, many people find their parents interference into their life suffocating. But honestly speaking, Parents are always right. They always want their kids to be safe, from any adversity, they want them to have fun. I have many lessons learned from my parents over the time and now analyzing I feel, how effective was those golden words from our parents. One of the best example that they always taught me is to have a proper meal early in the day. Well it might sound insane and to my knowledge, nobody like to have a heavy meal first thing in morning. Even it was told medicinal experts or dietician to have a light breakfast. But my parents unorthodox approach was very insightful. He always insisted to have a good meal early in the day. Their main approach was to have sufficient intake, as nobody would know how the rest of the day will folds up with what kind of surprises. It happens to me at many occasion, that whenever I didn't have a proper meal early in the day, I stuck up with some work or tasks and unable to get to eat anything. May be it was meeting in office or unable to get hold of anything while travelling. And at those time the my parents words echo's in my ear.

This is what makes a proper meal always good to have in the morning to sustain throughout the day. Better to have enough than having an empty stomach.

Never-ending Caring.

Our parents are from the orthodox school they do not always know the best way to convey they message to their kids. However, their help and support towards the kids are intentionally good willed. Our parents are always right and correct because they came here first. They have learned from their mistakes. They does not mean their kids should repeat the same mistakes they did in their time. That is why they keep instructing us now and then. They get to make decisions about what’s best for their kids. As we get older and start making our own choices and reach to our parenting phases then only we learn, that how much our parents were just as helpless as we were. Parents are always right because they have more life experience and knowledge than their children. They always feel responsible for their children's well-being and believe that their decisions are in their children's best interests.

Generation Gaps

The modern generation youths or the young kid always find their parents presence little distractive. I have seen many instances where the parents were Ill treated at the hands of their kids. There is a huge generation gap and they unable to establish a cordial relation. But even then the parents were always lookout for their kids welfare. We always see that parents spend so much time protecting their children from the world. However the kids were unable to understand their thought and make the situation quite worse for themselves. It is important that we should understand that time has changed a lot. Our time is much more advanced and not like the time of the parents. There is a huge gap created because of the technological advancement. While we are easily adapted to them, our parent somewhere unable to adapt properly which causes difference in the thought process.

Conclusions

Parents always alows their kids some “safe spaces” without risk or a place where their child can learn and grow instead of constantly being in defence mode. There is no way they wants to harm us. However there might be some difference of opinion due to different upbringing and some modernization in our lifestyle. But such things can be sorted with ease through discussion and proper talks. There is nothing to shy away. They always there for us, only we needed to take out time for them.

There is one secret too which I learned in early stage. Whenever you are in doubt or problems talk to your parents and you will experience the magic on your worrying factors.
