Navigating Mindful Purchases over Impulsive Buying.[my best buy]

Shopping is all about applying mind rather than swayed away easily over the flashy things. - (my own thoughts)

Shopping is a very tricky things. It is not only about the getting the best deal in the market, but it also involves implying some thoughtful action to do shopping. In a world filled with endless choices, practising mindfulness in your purchasing decisions can be a game changer. Afterall, the way we spend our money makes big impact on our life. Such things not only affect our savings but also to the overall utility of the product and the consumption there on. I have seen many people running to buy the product during the off season or when the sellers offering discount on their products during any special occasion. People gets crazy, irrespective of looking for the product utility, I.e they even needed the product or not. Such impulse purchasing has nonsense act. That is why it is alwsys recommended to be alert while shopping. Mindful Shopping is what required to make some smart purchases.

Born and bought up in a middle class family, we were quite aware of our limitation. Thanks to some good parental guidance, I have been quite content with my purchases. I do not spend money on unnecessary things. I alwsys opt out for minimalist approach first before going ahead to find the best purchases. This is what has been called as mindful shopping. It means maintaining the full awareness upon our shopping and to avoid unhealthy spending habits. More often people end up in buying things that just are not right, or worse or items we do not even need. Such shopping habits is not only a waste of money but it also means our houses get cluttered with items that are not useful.

My smart purchases

I always happen to consider twice before ordering online or buying from the store. Following such practices allow me to fulfill my needs and atbthe same time allow me to save money by avoiding unnecessary shopping. One of such purchase which I can easily recall is buying my persinal Laptop recently.

I have been planning to buy it for last few years, but unable to get hold due to various factors, it was kind of absence of deals, my needs, money constraint etc. My old laptop was not working, and last 6 years, I do not had any company laptop too. This one is a blessing in disguise purchases for me.

When I realized, the all important need arises to own a machine for various purpose, I quickly made the purchases on getting a good deal. I also made a proper use of my #hive balances. Mindfully investing it for a good purchases. Not many of you are aware, that I have been accessing Hive through mobile browser and mobile keyboard. But now, with my personal laptop, I write fast, make use of other Hive apps and features and do many other things. At the same, I also looks out for other part time jobs to keep me occupied. I needed the product to make use of my time and keeping myself engaged and get some financial freedom. Finally, I am completely satisfied with my purchases and it really made me very happy.

Happy mindful shopping

When we shop with our brains i.e with proper thinking, we end up in making conscious decisions. This helps us in many ways. From mental peace to shopping satisfaction to proper utility of product. It avoids the chances of impulsive shopping that are done through the flow of others or through the advertisement or other reasons. A mindful shopping requires a consumers to be super active and it includes following practices.

• Controlling yourself in "buying" only those things which are required by you or at home. Avoid buying unnecessary things for dhow offs.

• Following the minimalism approach to the shopping. Keeping items simple and thoughtful.

• Limiting the shopping to quality over quantity.

Considering all these factors before making any purchases always helps. I am very thankful to my parents who taught us such things since childhood. Utility, savings are some common things that must be sowed in children to reap it's benefit when they grow up. Following on these learning I never ended up on any horrible purchases that gave me pain. I never regretted on things that I purchased, because I made the shopping move after accessing situation and applying mindfulness.
