Milestones unfold : Celebrating community journey & Endless possibilities

The growth of an organisation depends upon the contribution made by each of the memeber. Each of the member works towards achieving the targets and goals set up by the organisation. In the same way the growth of the online community, depends upon the effort made up by each of the member. To foster and grow an online community, you need to give the members a sense of ownership over the community. Over the last 13 weeks, I have been getting a sense of belongingness and noticing the way each of the community member are activelly contributing towards the goals set up by the #HL communities. The community always aim at making engagement their priority and this has been very much transparent within the community.

It is so surprising to see the community has been actively sending out weekly featured challenge for thr last 100 weeks. I have been on the platform for over 6 years, but never seen the amount of discipline that #Hivelearners is putting in. Thrice in a week they send out the regular writing challenge for its member. They also have a transparent verification procedure for each of the member. It is good way to know each of the member. All of us belongs from different geographic location, and keeping it database for the same is so interesting. I never seen such a verification process in any other community. The success of the community depends upon following parameter :

• The community have the presence all over the social media, the community is alive in twitter, threads promoting it every way.

• The community, create an environment where everyone has something valuable to contribute.

• Building strong relationships with each of the member through support and engagement.

• Schedule out content and focus on meaningful interactions.

• Make new members feel special, invite them to share and participate within the community

• Celebrate member achievements with rewards and recognition.

The community are doing everything right in their endeavour to keep the community active and engaging. The team is building, nurturing, and strengthening its community in every possible way by laying out the plan and take necessary action for the continous growth.

I belive with so much already been involved in the smooth fucnctioning of the community, I hardly find any area of improvement. The community is doing well and will not be surprise to see it carry on with the another "century" (100) of weeks in coming days. However , I like to give some inputs so that they can incorporate in their regular schedule.

• Adding some more topic for Sunday engagement, apart from the ongoing #creativesunday. The current initiative is mostly DIY involvement. And those who are not into DIY are left behind. If they have some more initiatives for other users, we get to see more engagement.

• I often confused with the timeline for submitting the featured content. It says 4 local time. Is it PM or AM?. I think the community should look into it to be more specific with the content contribution.

These are my personal observation and in no way recommending the community to forcefully incorporate. In no way wanting disrupt the smoth flow that the community has been riding through. Looking forward to be part of another century weeks with meaningful contributions.
