Making a statement... with the wedding car!
The wedding season is a significant period for sales, particularly for two-wheelers and entry-level cars, as families often choose to purchase new vehicles to celebrate or commemorate the occasion. Two wheelers or four wheelers were gifted to the groom or call it another way of dowry. Even though the groom used to be employed and earning good, they end up demanding for vehicle on tbeir marriage. As such as the wedding days are nearing at mynhome, we went to book a 4-wheeler foe the groom.
The wedding season in India often coincides with a period of heightened spending and celebratory purchases, leading to a surge in demand for various goods, including vehicles. From SUV to luxury cars. The demand for the vehicle will be as per the paying capacity of the bride. Vehicles are commonly given as gifts during weddings, especially to the bride and groom, further fueling demand during this period. A vehicle is seen as a symbol of status and prosperity, and it's expected that the bride's family provide it as part of the dowry or as a gift to ensure the groom's family is well-off. In our case, the froom asked for an SUV and endednup visoting #KIA motors in our newrby showroom.
Kia motors are known for producing world-class vehicles, focusing on young, dynamic buyers with futuristic designs and dynamic features. Kia has a strong presence in India, particularly with models like the Seltos and Sonet, known for their stylish exteriors and feature-rich interiors. After scrutinizing various features we ended up on KIA Sonnet. It offers a comfortable and practical interior with ample space and a premium feel, making it a well-rounded choice in the subcompact SUV segment.
It is built with many technology festure including ADAS features like forward collision warning and avoidance, lane keep assist, and more, enhancing safety and convenience. The Sonet comes with a 360° camera with a blind-view monitor in the cluster, providing comprehensive visibility around the vehicle, and many others which are hard to mention. Me and my nephew ended up finalizing tye model and booked it for later day delivery. He was quick to take a picture in front of the car.
Even though wedding date is of next month, the predation for the event takes heavy toll. There are number of things that needs to be completed. And we are upto it one by one. From wedding card distribution to shopping to making all the arrangement we are on it and hopefully we complete everyonthing on time.
In good faith - peace!!

Dang, I can't imagine paying for a wedding and buying a car at the same time! I would be so broke! I think my wife and I drove our same cars for like five years after we got married. I did drive a Kia once. I was not impressed. Stay away from the Soul.
When it comes to lavish Indian wedding, anything could. One guy paid 1.5 Cr for wedding the boy was a government employee and the bride father was in no way to let match slip
I think our wedding cost something like $2000 to $3000 total. It was small and my wife did an amazing job planning it.
