Beer tasting adventures. 🍺 - Godfather Legendary Strong Beer [Review]

My experience with "Bad Monkey" beer brand led me to taste some other Beer brand. But the question always remain, why beer taste diffrently. There might be different factors. Brewers can use different ingredients to create different beers, such as different grains, hops, yeast, water, spices, fruit, and coffee. For example, hops can contribute to the flavor, aroma, and bitterness of beer. This time my experiment with different brand took me to taste Godfather strong beer.

Godfather is an award winning strong lager beer from DeVANS Modern Breweries Ltd.. It's available in two variants: Legendary Strong, which has 7.2% ABV, and Super 8, which has 8% ABV and is considered India's strongest beer. I went on to taste the Legendry strong beer, which is easily available in market.

Unlike Bira strong beer the 500ML beer can was more of advertisement. The brand name was written all over the packaging can. And a picture of old man, referring to "Godfather". It was pretty like, Old Monk premium whiskey bottle.

I have seen many people always asking for god father brand of beer in the alcohol shops. This made me to trynout this beer in a very short span of time. Here is some information about the Godfather beer:

Super 8 : Livcheers.com describes Super 8 as a bold, robust brew with intense malt flavors, notes of caramel, toffee, and dark fruits, and a deep amber color. It also has aromas of caramel and toasted malt, and flavors of toffee, dark fruits, and molasses.

Legendary Strong In 2022, Legendary Strong won a Gold medal in the Strong Lager category at The Beer of India Awards.

We do not used to have any premium shops in the area. A little licensed kiosks here and and there and a small eateries just outside the kiosks is common. People do not like to drink in lavish pubs and restaurant. They want a open space with some snacks to carter the drinking requirement.

This brand of beer is made with choicest Indian malts as well as German bitters, making it extremely popular among beer lovers. The long brewing cycle of the beer leaves it with a smooth and refreshing taste to linger on. It is quite stronger in taste as compaired to Bira. But still after few can, I was not feeling like hangover.

In my opinion, the temperature of beer can impact its flavor. When beer is cold, the ethanol molecules appear chain like, which brings out an ethanol like flavor. As beer warms up, the ethanol clusters together and the flavor fades. The more chilled the beer remain the more tastier it get.

It was good afternoon, with few can of Legendary beer. This beer is good, goes down smoothly, and has a nice aftertaste that is not bitter.
