Adding a pinch of extra sparkle to the career.
Love Your Job, Not Your Company - Dr APJ Abdul Kalam
The above lines always proven important in my career. I have work with different companies and enjoyed many benefits and perks. The employee benefits were the part of our pay packages. From conveyanve, to incentives to meals to coupons to many other benefits, the company is always ready to pay their employee. In my opinion they always aims at employee retention. The much facilities they provide they assume that the employee remain loyal to them. And people does that, but at the end of the day, persinal satisfaction at works matters most.

With so many facilities and benefits in sight, most ofnthe employee prefer to remain stagnant at work. No matter what they do , or they are happy with the work or work mat hing their expertise or not. They remain loyal to company. During my 15 years tenure at work, I have learned and enjoyed every piece of office culture. Here are some of the things that I observed that can make our job feel like love:
Enjoyment: If we find our work interesting, challenging, and enjoyable, we might love our job. This could be because it aligns with our passions and interests, or because it allows us to use our skills in a meaningful way.
Personal fulfillment When we enjoy our work, we are more likely to feel fulfilled and happy in our career. This can have a positive impact on our overall well-being and quality of life.
Positive work environment: A friendly work environment can make the workplace more enjoyable, reduce stress, and increase our productivity.
Flexibility: Having more control over our work environment, such as working from home, can help us enjoy work more.
Avoiding monotonous task: If we have been doing the same tasks for a long time, we might be bored and uninspired. Challenge ourself by learning something new and exciting, such as offering to help out a different department or volunteering to take on new responsibilities is a blessing in disguise.
Working environments.
Everything that shines are not alwsys gold. A company is ready to provide all kind of benefits. It appears to be lucrative and attractive. But at the end, it left on the employee to create a healthy work environment to sustain a healthy working culture inside the organisation. It is hard maintain a good work environment. There are number of factors that results in An unhealthy work environment
Toxic work culture : This can include a lack of respect, poor communication, excessive workloads, and office politics. It can also be characterized by a tense environment where employees feel pressure to perform and are constantly stressed and anxious.
Unsafe working conditions: This can include exposure to hazards that could cause physical harm or illness, such as dangerous machinery, chemicals, poor lighting, and ventilation.
Toxic behaviors: These can include bullying, harassment, discrimination, micromanagement, and excessive gossip. They can also include passive aggressive behavior from bosses or coworkers, or microaggressions.
Work before company
I always prefer to give weigtage to my work rather than swaying with differrnt employee benefits. If the assigned task makes me happy and I am able to achive my family task and challenges, than it makes sense. The moment there is discontent then it create differences and all benefits started appearing gleem. I always follow the line said by our Ex president. All the company I worked for always made me happy as far as profile is concerned. I changed few only to increase my pay packages. I remember changing a company because they removed the transportation services.
I worked for that company for 6 years. It was situated at approx 52 km from my home in Delhi. Daily I used to commute for an hour or two to reach office and same for returning home. I was happy untill, the company revoked the transportation and offering partial facilities. Revoking such benefits really disturb my routine, and made me lookout for some option near my home. And glad, it does not take much time, before I find a better option near my home.
There are many instances where the company woo the employee with different perks and benefits. But it is upto employee what to choose and what makes them happy.
Peace!!

Many times companies attract people with different things, some true, others not so real, but as you say, after knowing what is there, it is the person who decides, because if the benefits do not compensate then it will generate discomfort... it has happened to me.
