This Friday a Hivechess fun tournament is played - join and win 5 Hive!

I hope you had a nice summer, fortunately it is not over yet and we are facing still some warm days (at least here in Europe)!

While we are still waiting for S21 to kick off (which should happen around the end of Sep.), let´s play a fun tournament!

This Friday, the 12^th Sep., at the usual time (19:00 GMT) there will be a Chess960 tournament for all Hivians!

OPEN TO ALL SKILL LEVELS. You just need a (free) Lichess-account and to join our team (password is "Hive").

10% of the rewards of this post go into the next season´s prize fund!

Besides, the winner gets 5 Hive right away sent into his wallet, the second 2 Hive and the third 1, moreover EACH PARTICIPANT (min. 5 games played) earns one point for the upcoming Hivechess season 21!

Mode: 3+2 (3 minutes per game, 2 sec. increment per move), 70 min. Chess960 (=Fischerrandom) arena with no streaks, rated.

Some players were apparently surprised by the starting time, seems I mixed something up. In S21 it is planned to start 1h later than in this one. Keep practicing until then!
