Getting people to sign up has always been an issue.
Personally I signed up for STEEM 9 years ago and simply kept using the keys from them even after the fork to Hive
Once all the projects on Hive can make it seamless for people to get in we are maybe too late
Getting past the barriers is for the explorers and those willing to go into the unknown in search of riches :)

Quite a few technical register words here that I don't understand, but overall I get the gist and as a solution you are calling for people of skill in this area to help with more user friendly activities in Hive. Right?

pretty much. the easier it is for people to come aboard the more people will come is the premise "build it and they will come"
