Hello again everyone! Welcome back to another Splinterlands fan art post. For this week, my subject is an Epic Fire Unit from the Rebellion card set which is Dalthin Ironwood. At max level, this unit will have Weapons Training, Immunity and Redemption skills. Among these skill, Weapons Training is my favorite because it boosts the attack power of the whole line up by giving attack power to adjacent units with no attack power.

I used the following tools and apps in creating this fan art of Dalthin Ironhood.

Here are the detailed step-by-step procedures for creating this fan art.

This is the step wherein I have already cleaned up the line art over a grayish background.

I then applied the base color in reference to the original image.

I then used Multiply layer to add shadows to the character.

---

After adding shadows, I used Soft Glow layer to add highlights.

For the background, I created a red-orange flame.

And here is the final output after combining all the layers.
