Hello, Holozing Community! Welcome back to another Holozing fan art post. For this fan art, I have drawn the second evolution of Fal which is Fally.

This fan art shows Fally perched in a nest atop a tree, with wings fully spread in a dominant pose, protecting its nest from predators or invaders.

For this fan art, I used Sketchbook for Android and the following outlines the step-by-step process involved in creating this fan art.

Line Art:

After several sketches, I created a clean, definitive line art over a gray back ground.

Flat Colors:

I used the colors from the original image and fill in the character and background with flat base colors — browns for feathers, yellow for beak/talons, greens for leaves and brown for the branches.

Shading and Highlights:

I then added shadows under the wings, tail, and tree branches to give a sense of depth.
I also added some highlights on feathers and the beak to enhance the lighting effect.

Background:

For the background, I painted the sky with a gradient blue and added clouds with fluffy textures. Lastly, I added a soft glow or outline to make the character pop.
