Im Scared to Check CoinGecko - Never Ending Downturn

Hello SPIers, what shall we write about today? The market is still down and I have not checked the price of HIVE since Monday cause im scared.

These are the worst parts of the cycle when it is after the halving and the market is just dumping. We've already rid out the last 3 years of decline and it's after the BTC halving, it feels like we should be at least going up but we're going sideways at best. The start of the year was good, everything pumped between January and March, then the market went sideways for 4-5 months and now many tokens are trading for less than than they were in January. Crazy stuff?

What do I think about HIVE? I think the same as always, it'll decline or go sideways the rest of the year. It'll increase a little in the half 10 months of 2025 and do a 2-3x in the final weeks of the bullrun before the bubble pops. I would not be surprised at all if we dont see over 50 cents for another 12 months.

What about HIVE after 2025? All I'll say is it'll never be the dominant asset for SPI after 2025. I love HIVE but when we look at it for what it is and the state it is in, is it worth investing in it just to save face? HIVE in the past few months has started to become very divided and that never ends well. There are alot of people milking the blockchain for what it's worth and giving nothing in return, and there will soon be nothing left. We already see the HBD to HIVE ratio at all-time highs and they keep increasing the limit. Why have a limit if you can increase it? baba-haha. At this rate, HIVE will soon be a stable token backed by a crypto with no use case.
