People no longer reap what they sow

We all grew up with the belief that we will reap whatever we sow. That is to say, when we do good, we will reap good, and when we do bad, we will reap bad. In simpler terms, karma will always have its way.
While scrolling through social media today, I came across a post made in a meme form about one of the dreaded politicians in Nigeria who is currently unshakable. He has been doing evil things, such as displacing people without any just cause, and boldly telling everyone that nothing can be done to him. The post stated that in no distant time, his sons, whom he has already cemented in the political space, will reap all the bad he has done and is still doing to people.
My thought and question are: are his children ever going to reap the bad he has sown? He has already established his children in wealth and also in the political arena. They are currently unshakeable.
I feel that this thing called karma, or the principle of reaping what one sows, does not happen to everyone. It seems to select people to play on. The rich and those in positions of power easily get away with wrongdoing, and while they are still alive, they make sure that their children will not get close to experiencing the negative effects of the harm they caused during their lifetime.
But seriously, I think that it’s totally unfair that his children experience any effect of his actions. He did it alone and should experience it alone.
