Time Fills All Voids—Not People
Life is an interesting mystery.
The truth is that no matter how much we try to hold onto everyone we meet, some will definitely drift away and when it becomes that singular friend you held dear and in high esteem that left, it initially creates a void and you try everything possible to fill that void by making him or her see reasons why he should come back but guess what, time fills all void.
What makes life even more complicated is our inability to know the future .That uncertainty! Haunts every human being.
Almost 98% of the decisions we make on earth are based on probabilities, we do not have a clear judgement that whatever we have decided will favour us and this! Is the greatest weakness of humans.

There's always a common saying around us Nigerians and I quote, "You don't know who will help you tomorrow"
This singular line has caused more harm than good in our lives, people hold onto toxic relationships, bad friends and heal repeatedly from hurts simply because they are anticipating that maybe one day they will be in a position where the person they should have let loose becomes the only one that can help them, but then, is it really good enough for the sufferings we subject ourselves to?
My answer is NO
Personally, I find myself a lover of human and this makes me make friends easily. I also trust people easily and I just can't help it. However, I also have a line of no return, a line of which when you cross, I will never regard you as a friend no matter what and no matter what anyone says to me about how you can change. Because a friend who murdered me behind my back if given an opportunity will stab me at my very face, all he or she needs Is just time.
So tell me, why will losing such a person be a lost to me?
Life is really too short for us to cling in a future we know nothing about while enduring a present suffering we do not deserve.
One thing we definitely have to make peace with is that not everyone comes into our life to make a permanent impact , it can be likened to chapters of book, once we are done reading, we flip to the next chapter.
That doesn't mean they are irrelevant again in our existence, it simply means that their roles have ended.

In summary, it's a good thing once you realise that real peace begins the moment you stop chasing after those who left, Instead of exhausting yourself trying to revive what no longer exists, but rather keep enjoying any moment you share with everyone.
