The feelings that inspire 🎶
Lying down on the couch looking at the ceiling enjoying my playlist that was exceptionally soothing to the ear like it was not mine because the next music found a way to supersede the one that just finished.....
There came a song that for the first time made me go back to hear such a melodious work again.
It was Echo(acoustic), the work of Alexander Stewart.
This was a song released on September 1, 2023. It is not as if it was the first time I was hearing this song nor was it the first time I knew how good of a work it was ( I mean, that is the reason why it is still in my favourite playlist right, lol)
I discovered this song randomly when I was shuffling song using my V-music Application and it did not take long before it made it's way to my favourite collection / the calm collections.
This music so much motivates me in many ways, nah, don't get the wrong idea...
I am not healing from a breakup (I might be anyway, lol) but, beyond the heartfelt emotional breakup song it represents, there are so much to talk about...
- Let Us Talk About The Flow....
This is a work that builds gradually dishing out a very wonderful calm sound soothing to the ear and above that, very solemn to match the lyrical message the song is trying to send (no one talks about breakups in loud voices I guess)
The flow creates an alternating high and low tensions signifying the spirit of longing and inability to let go, hence the song's name, ECHO.
- Let us Talk About The Lyrical Impact...
Here , Alexander Stewart made it obvious of how hard it is to let go of a great relationship you were in.
It is always very difficult to let go as you keep getting flashbacks of the memories you made with the loved one and these make you want to stay around clinging on the 1% hope that the relationship could be salvaged even when it's almost impossible.
What was unique was the way he handpicked his words saying them calmly one after another without a rush... Maybe, he was really hoping not to say it all at once Incase the lady accepts midway into the music production, hehehe.
Combination of these and other factors was what made this a perfect song; a rendition of an exquisite work of art.
It is really not a song you will like to get passed if you do not have it, then if you have it randomly in your playlist, I think it is a song you will have to send to your favourite collections now, hehehe.
I do hope this song inspires you through the day's activities because it does inspire me, maybe it is because this is the type of song I so much love to work with...
Thanks for reading and have a nice day 👍
