Finding Depth in Simplicity
It's my first post in this community but I've been reading so many blogs from here, so let's jump in too as this is a topic that resonates with me a lot....
Connection in its broadest sense means interactions between not just persons but with places, things and experiences that shape our lives. As a minimalist, the emphasis isn't on the quantity as in the number of persons, places or experiences, but, it's rather based on the quality of each of them; that's to say that one genuine connection is worth more than thousands that offered nothing.
No one connects with others when he or she hasn't connected with him or herself. That is why connection with oneself is the foundation of all connections. This could be in the form of setting aside time for reflection, taking out your headset with your favourite playlist and taking walks under a chill weather thinking about how far you've come and how far you want to go, aligning both your physical and spiritual self to be one. Doing that helps me remind myself of my priorities and values.

Minimalism will help you reduce committments; not that I won't help people when I have the power to do so but it's also identifying that I also have my own personal needs that ought to be sorted out, hence , creating time for what truly matters because in as much as helping other is a good thing, minimalism serves a reminder that you can't pour from an empty pot. You will also get to do things after you've given them deep thoughts and not seek external validation before doing even things you know they're good.

As a minimalist, I am always intentional about what I want in relationships. It's not just about having tens of the opposite sex as acquaintances when you can't have any deep connection with them. Learning to let go of relationships that do not align with what I want especially when relationships has become one-sided and cherishing the ones that truly matter.
Struggling to keep a relationship afloat to me is just a signal that the relationship is already at the end of the road. It's not meant to be difficult, the communication is meant to flow with ease and when It doesn't move that way, there's obviously no reason to hang around.
Minimalism helps me connect to places, appreciating the serenity and the rhythms of nature. Just the way people often go to beaches just to watch the water flow while they're sitting down or walking through a quiet garden just for the interconnectedness that comes with nature's simplicity.
Instead of rushing to go for extravagant adventures, minimalist cherishes places as serene as rivers, streams and springs because they hold the power to inspire and heal us even without spending much.
In conclusion, connection as a minimalist isn't about quantity or expensiveness; it's about cherishing the quality of every moment with what truly matters to you.
This is my entry to #Kiss challenge

I did read the posts you highlighted even before I posted so I'll have a better knowledge of the community's rules and regulations.
Will do better with the pictures from my next publications too
Once again, thanks for the warm welcome
The life of a minimalist is always the best, finding meaning in everything nature offers
That's right, when there is a genuine connection, it is worth a lot and as you mention it is not about quantity but quality. That's what really nourishes our soul 🤗.
Yes it is
