Moments of Hermosu 🐱

It's been a month since a cute kitten arrived at my home. On 24 January, it appeared among the damp plants on a rainy night, hungry and small, a helpless creature that I couldn't abandon. I don't know how it got into the yard, but I do know that this month it has filled my home with joy and beautiful moments.

This kitten now has an official name. I am grateful for the options that some of you kindly gave me in one of my posts, and although some members of my household do not like his name, I am his mum, so I decided to call him 'Hermosu' (hehehe, it's like saying 'beautiful', which he is), But in the end, instead of using the letter 'o', we replaced it with the letter 'u', making it 'hermosú', a name that suits him perfectly because he is so beautiful and responds quickly. Every time I don't see him and call him, he comes running in my direction as if he were a dog. His actions fill me with tenderness.

Hermosu loves to play with the leaves that fall in the yard. He rolls around and hides in them. Every time I sweep, he runs in and scatters them everywhere, but he's just a baby. All I can do is take pictures of his mischief and pick up the leaves as quickly as possible.
At night, he usually falls asleep at 11 p.m. and lies down on a piece of furniture with a soft cloth that his grandmother gave him the day he arrived. On these nights, I saw him sleeping stretched out, so beautiful that I went over to give him kisses and took the opportunity to take pictures of him.

With each passing day, I see him becoming more confident, overcoming obstacles, jumping higher, and practising his hunting moves while watching birds, lizards, or cockroaches, techniques he tests on his canine brother Duke when he jumps on him like a horse to run away.
As the house is large, he has explored every corner, and the other day we were all on the porch and Duke stood at the door barking at some people passing by. The cat looked at him and imitated him by jumping onto the half wall. At that moment, my aunt and I were both so scared because if he starts doing that, anyone who sees him could steal him, and Duke was also scared, so he immediately approached the cat and barked as if warning of the danger.
These two brothers already adore each other. They sit together waiting for their food, and at night they sometimes fight over Duke's bed, but they love each other. They are still in the process of adapting, but the good thing is that there is no jealousy over my love. Duke understands that there is enough love in my heart for both of them.

Thank you very much.🥰
