Saludos amigos amantes de la música, hoy quise traer mi participación en la iniciativa intercambio melódico y compartir uno de los discos que formaron mi base musical cuando tenía unos 10 y 11 años, hace mucho tiempo 😁 lo que significa que las canciones de este disco sonaron hace tres décadas en mi país y fueron tendencia por varios años.

En esa época también se pegaban las canciones en la gente y era común escucharlas tararear en las calles y en las casas, aquellas que tuvieran un equipo de sonido para discos de acetato como el de mi portada. Recuerdo que yo era la cambiadora oficial de discos, un trabajo fastidioso, pero me correspondía, trataba de cambiar o voltear el disco para qué sonarán las canciones del otro lado. Por cada lado había unas cinco canciones más o menos.

Greetings friends music lovers, today I wanted to bring my participation in the initiative melodic sharing and share one of the albums that formed my musical base when I was about 10 and 11 years old, a long time ago 😁 which means that the songs on this album sounded three decades ago in my country and were trending for several years.

At that time the songs also stuck with people and it was common to hear them humming in the streets and in homes, those who had a sound system for acetate discs like the one on my cover. I remember that I was the official record changer, an annoying job, but it was my job, I tried to change or turn the record so that the songs on the other side would play. On each side there were about five songs more or less.

Este disco que tengo en mis manos titulado “Cuando yo amo”, era de género diverso: tropical, pop y bachata, interpretado por el cantautor italiano y venezolano Rudy La Scala, este señor es talentoso fue el compositor de sus canciones y también el de muchos otros artistas famosos de la época, como Karina, kiara, entre otras. Su voz es muy singular, ya que es tan aguda que se confunde fácilmente con la de una mujer, yo misma pensé que era mujer hasta que lo vi y quedé enamorada porque era bello, juzguen ustedes mismos. 😍.

De las canciones más lindas que su coro nunca se me olvido es una que dice: “Cuando yo amo” con una letra profunda del amor y la vida, yo la cantaba a todo pulmón y también me la cantaban en la esquina de la casa, mi primer novio 😅🤭

This record that I have in my hands titled “Cuando yo amo”, was of diverse genre: tropical, pop and bachata, interpreted by the Italian and Venezuelan singer-songwriter Rudy La Scala, this gentleman is talented, he was the composer of his songs and also of many other famous artists of the time, like Karina, Kiara, among others. His voice is very unique, as it is so high pitched that it is easily confused with that of a woman, I myself thought he was a woman until I saw him and I was in love because he was beautiful, judge for yourselves. 😍.
