As I watched this film on a streaming service, I was able to rewind it about three times and watch this beginning carefully. I liked every element of those first scenes: the atmosphere created on a train car, the makeup, the characters, an older woman and a young man whose face is not seen, the exquisite dialogue, and the abrupt and cruel ending. For thriller lovers like me, it is a total delight. This crime, which was a real event, gave rise to this written work, which was later made into a film.

At the time of this event, Agatha Christie's life was in turmoil, her husband had asked her for a divorce, and she was suffering from writer's block. However, she did not give up. She sought inspiration, investigated, and visited experts, but nothing convinced her until a woman came to her house asking for her help in finding the murderer of her friend and partner. Although it is a thriller and crime film, it is very enjoyable because of its humor, and throughout the film, the uncertainty about who the murderer is remains. Agatha plays with the minds of all the viewers, making them believe that it was one person or another who committed the murder. The details of the crime are also unclear until the end, when everything is revealed.

It is a very good film because it is based on real events and combines many genres without weighing down the story. I felt very comfortable while watching it and recommend it because, in addition to entertaining you, you learn about the life of this great writer.

Agatha y la verdad del crimen, no es una película común y corriente de un solo género o dos, tiene una mezcla de hechos reales, ficción, thriller, drama y misterio, es una obra donde la autora expresa emociones personales y forma parte de la historia como protagonista. Por tanto, es una película muy interesante y peculiar.

Agatha Christie fue una escritora y dramaturga británica, especialista del género policial, muy famosa y hasta el día de hoy sus relatos e historias se siguen produciendo. Justamente en esta película Agatha y la verdad del crimen es donde surge su primera obra exitosa inspirada en la resolución de un crimen real.

El inicio o gancho visual de esta película es tan impactante que sin temor a equivocarme creo que ha sido uno de los mejores que he visto, es fuerte, sorprendente, rápido. Deja al espectador en shock y es casi imposible no quedarse a ver toda la película después de eso, como vi esta película por un servicio de streaming pude retroceder como 3 veces y mirar con detenimiento este comienzo. Me gustó cada elemento de esas primeras escenas, el ambiente producido sobre un vagón de tren, el maquillaje, los personajes una mujer mayor y un hombre joven que no se le ve rostro, los diálogos tan exquisitos y su desenlace abrupto y cruel, para los amantes de thriller como yo, es una delicia total. A partir de este crimen que fue un hecho real nace esta obra escrita que luego pasó a ser película.

En la época de este suceso Agacha Christie tenía su vida revuelta, su esposo le había pedido el divorcio y tenía un bloqueo de escritor; sin embargo, ella no se dejaba vencer buscaba recursos para inspirarse, indagaba y visitaba a expertos, pero nada la convencía, hasta que una mujer llegó a su casa pidiéndole el favor que le ayudará a encontrar el asesino de su amiga y pareja, algo que al principio rechazó porque ella no era policía, pero después pensó que podía ser la mejor medicina para la depresión que estaba sufriendo.

Tuvo el ingenio de unir cabos y crear una trampa donde cayeron todos los familiares e involucrados en el crimen del tren, para poder encontrar la verdad, ella misma participó creando un personaje y se disfrazó, además se desapareció por 11 días siendo buscada por las autoridades del país entero y cuando apareció para no enfrentar cargos por eso, finge amnesia.

Aunque es una película de thriller y crimen, es muy agradable porque el humor está presente, y durante toda la película se mantiene la incertidumbre sobre quién será el asesino, Agatha juega con la mente de todos los espectadores haciendo creer que fue uno u otro el asesino, tampoco se tiene claro los detalles del crimen sino al final que se esclarece todo.

Es una película muy buena porque está basada en hechos reales y tienen muchos géneros en uno sin cargar la historia, me sentí muy a gusto mientras la veía y la recomiendo, porque además de recrearte aprendes parte de los que fue la vida de esta gran escritora.
