This Doppler ultrasound not only allows you to see your baby's face clearly, but also to check on the health of the baby and mother, the blood flow to the placenta if the mother is prone to preeclampsia, and the baby's weight to see if it is growing healthily. All of this provides peace of mind for mom and dad, especially knowing that you detected a late pregnancy.

But I should mention that this takes place in Maturin, which is a 45-minute bus ride from where I live, and it's first come, first served, so that day we left much earlier to try to catch the first bus to Maturin, but we didn't make it. We caught the second one and still arrived early. I managed to get number 6, so it was around noon. While we waited our turn, we decided to go for a walk and sit in a nearby square, but @soyeve likes to seize the moment and take a few pictures.

By noon, it was our turn. The doctor ordered a thyroid profile, told me everything was fine, and we went to see that beautiful baby 😍💙 and explain the baby's growth process to me; it was already weighing 1.7 kg. However, he told me that my belly was small. ☺️ But hey, we're growing little by little. The baby was sleeping very peacefully that day; the doctor moved him to take his picture. 😍😍🥹 He said everything was going very well.

Now it was time to return, and as I walked, I also found this place where I could take a few more photos. The return trip was a bit difficult; everything was jammed, there was a long line, and there were no buses. We arrived in the afternoon, under a beautiful sunset, tired but happy, and Mom needed to rest, as it had been a very exhausting day, but we also had some very nice moments. 😍☺️

Esta ecografía Doppler no sirve solamente para ver la cara de tu bebé tan clara, sino para saber el estado de salud del bebé y de la mamá, el flujo sanguíneo de la placenta si mamá es más propensa a la preeclampsia; además, miden el peso del bebé si está creciendo de forma saludable. Todo esto brinda tranquilidad a mamá y a papá y más al saber que detectaste un embarazo tardío.

Pero les cuento que esto se realiza en Maturin es decir a 45 minutos en autobús del lugar a donde vivo, y es por orden de llegada así que ese día salimos mucho más temprano para intentar agarrar el primer autobús a Maturin pero no se nos dió agarramos el segundo y aún así llegamos temprano logré agarrar el número 6 así que era como para medio día así que mientras esperábamos nuestro turno decidimos salir a caminar y sentarnos en una plaza cercana, pero @soyeve le gusta aprovechar el momento y tomarse una que otra fotografía.

Ya para mediodía tocaba nuestro turno. El doctor mandó a realizarme un perfil tiroideo, me dijo que todo estaba bien y fuimos a ver ese bebé hermoso 😍💙 y a explicarme el proceso de crecimiento del bebé; ya estaba pesando un kilo 700. Mas sin embargo, me dijo que mi barriga era pequeña. ☺️ Pero bueno, ahí vamos creciendo poco a poquito. El bebé ese día estaba dormido muy tranquilo; el doctor lo movía para tomarle su fotografía. 😍😍🥹 Dijo que todo iba marchando muy bien.

Ahora tocaba nuevamente el retorno y, mientras caminaba, también conseguí este lugar donde también tomarme una que otra fotografía. Para regresar fue un poco duro; estaba todo colapsado, mucha cola y no había autobús. Nuestra hora de llegada fue en la tarde, bajo un hermoso atardecer, cansados pero contentos, y mamá necesitaba descansar, ya que fue un día muy agotador, pero también vivimos momentos muy bonitos. 😍☺️
