Time Loop ~ Entry for SMASh Contest Round 421 [ENG/ESP]

Hello friends and Shadow Hunters community. First, as in every blog, I wish you a nice day; better yet, a nice week, since it's been a week since my last blog in the community. And it seems like yesterday when I shared a photo and a little piece of history... And speaking of History, I have next to me my notes from my History classes, a bundle of facts and prompts that feel not only distant in time but also alien. Once I heard something like: "whoever forgets their history is condemned to repeat it." I think that, if we are experts at anything, it's at forgetting history. Well, let's return to today, and the goal is to show you my shadow of the week.

This photo I’m showing you today is very simple: my ring on top of my history notes. There, among dates and unknown people, rests a perfect ring. As evening falls, the shadows grow longer on my table. I recently moved my table closer to the window to make even better use of the sunlight. A moment ago I was telling you about those who forget history and are condemned to repeat it. A circular ring with no beginning or end, I think that would be a good metaphor for this. Time loop. Trapped in an endless cycle. I saw the ring’s shadow, I saw the typography of my notes and the rough paper, and I thought: I have a shadow, I have a story, it’s time to take a photo. As for my history notes, they’re still there on the table, like that endless degree that I don’t see coming to an end, perhaps tormented less by the effort of feeling like I’m studying again and more by the difficult situation of these days. Well, friends, I don’t have much more to say today, just to send you warm greetings and my ever‑recurring wishes for good luck and great success. Bye bye.
Time loop. Chau chau.
