Hola amigos, espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Esta entrada en mi post pertenece a mi participación en Qurator's Photo Quest | Fire. Espero que disfruten esta entrada y también que se animen a participar y compartir sus bellas fotos.

This week’s theme, Fire, is one I really liked. I wanted to keep it simple, especially because photographing fire can be quite difficult and depends on several conditions—from having the right equipment to controlling exposure times. My idea behind the photo is simple: a pair of hands holding a dripping matchstick, just about to go out. I believe that even in such a simple image, there’s a lot that can be expressed. I tried to keep the exposure low to capture the flame frozen in time and a dark atmosphere. Although I couldn’t avoid some overexposure in the brightest areas, it didn’t take away from the overall quality of the image. In the end, I got a photo I really liked, and it only needed a few slight adjustments to the overall warmth.

El tema de esta semana, Fire, es un tema que me gustó mucho. La verdad quería mantenerlo sencillo, sobre todo porque fotografiar fuego puede ser muy difícil y depende de varias condiciones, desde el equipamiento adecuado hasta controlar los tiempos de exposición. Mi idea detrás de la fotografía es simple: unas manos sostienen una cerilla goteante a punto de extinguirse. Creo que detrás de una imagen tan simple se puede expresar mucho. Traté de mantener la exposición baja para capturar la llama detenida y un ambiente a oscuras, aunque no pude evitar que, sobre todo en las zonas de máxima iluminación, se quemara un poco la fotografía. Pero sin quitarle calidad a la imagen general. Al final obtuve una imagen que me gustó mucho y solo necesitó unos ligeros ajustes en la calidez del color general.
