Cities Skylines: zonificación y transporte

Hola a todos, mis queridos gamers. Hoy vengo con una segunda parte de este juego que tengo al menos una semana jugando y que ya hasta sueño con él. En esta oportunidad quiero hablarles de algo que debemos tomar en cuenta a la hora de empezar a zonificar nuestra ciudad, y se trata de los recursos y como utilizar el transporte con respecto a esto.

This time, I want to talk about something we need to take into account when we start zoning our city, namely resources and how to use transportation in relation to this.

Para empezar a zonificar, debemos tener en cuenta la vista general del terreno y también de tener desbloqueada la vista de los recursos. A medida que vamos avanzando en el juego, se nos empiezan a desbloquear unas casillas alrededor de las que nos dan para empezar. Cuando ampliamos la vista del terreno y marcamos los recursos, ya podemos observar donde los tenemos. Los recursos disponibles para el juego base son: petróleo, minerales, bosques y agricultura. En esos sitios vamos a ubicar los distritos industriales, y además hacer distritos especializados con base en los recursos disponibles.

To begin zoning, we must consider the overall view of the terrain and also have the resource view unlocked. As we progress through the game, boxes begin to unlock around the ones we are given to start with. When we zoom out on the terrain and mark the resources, we can see where they are located. The resources available for the base game are: oil, minerals, forests, and agriculture. We will locate industrial districts in these areas and also create specialized districts based on the available resources.

Yo empecé a comprar las casillas dependiendo de lo que tenía más cerca, que en este caso fue con los bosques y así empecé a crear un distrito maderero. De esta manera empiezan a crearse todas estas empresas, y empieza a crecer árboles en la zona industrial. También es importante organizar otra zona industrial normal, sin ninguna especialización, que es a donde llevarán las materias primas salidas de los distritos especializados.

I started buying plots based on what was closest to me, which in this case was the forests, and so I began to create a timber district. This is how all these companies start to be created, and trees begin to grow in the industrial zone. It is also important to organize another normal industrial zone, without any specialization, which is where the raw materials from the specialized districts will be taken.

Todas las zonas son importantes, y en este juego, cada una de las zonas cumple una cadena. Luego de que la materia prima haya sido lleva a la industria, empiezan a crearse las mercancías y estas deben ser llevadas a los comercios. Por esta razón, hay que crear zonas comerciales. Y para que el comercio prospere, hay que poner zonas residenciales cercanas a los comercios.

All areas are important, and in this game, each area fulfills a role in the chain. After the raw materials have been taken to industry, goods begin to be produced, and these must be taken to stores. For this reason, commercial areas must be created. And for commerce to thrive, residential areas must be located near stores.

La zona residencial y la industrial no deben estar cerca porque la zona industrial es contaminante, por lo tanto, hay que estar retirados. Pero hay que tener formas rápidas y accesibles para llegar de una zona a otra, aparte de las carreteras tenemos las opciones de transporte. y en este juego hay cinco, pero hoy les mostraré tres.

Una de estas formas y la primera que se desbloquea es la estación de buses. Con esta, podemos crear rutas de buses que lleven a nuestros residentes hacia sus trabajos. Vamos por las calles agregando paradas para que tomen los buses.

Residential and industrial areas should not be close to each other because industrial areas are polluting, so they need to be separated. However, there must be quick and accessible ways to get from one area to another. Apart from roads, we have transportation options. There are five in this game, but today I will show you three.

One of these options, and the first one to be unlocked, is the bus station. With this, we can create bus routes that take our residents to their jobs. We go through the streets, adding stops for them to catch the buses.

Así que hay que buscar opciones menos problemáticas, y otra opción es la del metro subterráneo. Una opción bastante óptima, que lleva a grandes residentes a sus trabajos, es el metro. Pero para poder poner un metro hay que tener mucho dinero porque los rieles son muy costosos.

But the streets tend to get congested, especially when they are not optimized and certain mistakes are made, such as those I have made. So, we have to look for less problematic options, and another option is the underground metro. A fairly optimal option, which takes large numbers of residents to their jobs, is the metro. But in order to build a metro, you need a lot of money because the rails are very expensive.

La otra opción es la del tren, sobre todo, cuando se utiliza el tren de carga, que lleva las materias primas y otras cosas al exterior mediante unas conexiones que ya están en los mapas. También pueden llevar a grandes cantidades de pasajeros y están más pensadas para trayectos más largos.

The other option is the train, especially when using the freight train, which transports raw materials and other goods abroad via connections that are already on the maps. They can also carry large numbers of passengers and are more suited to longer journeys.

Lo mejor de este juego es cuando empezamos a ver como nuestro pequeño pueblito empieza a crecer, y empiezan a aparecer los grandes edificios, esta es la parte que más me gusta del juego. la parte que menos me gusta, es cuando empiezan a aparecer problemas por todos lados y es en el punto en el que estoy parada en este momento porque tengo grandes atascos de tráfico. Esto genera que las personas no lleguen a sus trabajos y entonces las empresas cierran. Tampoco llegan bien los camiones de basura, de bomberos, la policía, y así, un montón de cosas más muy problemáticas que me dejan planificando en mi cerebro cuando no estoy jugando para resolver estos problemas.

The best part of this game is when we start to see our little town begin to grow, and large buildings start to appear. This is the part I like best about the game. The part I like least is when problems start to appear everywhere, which is where I am right now because I have huge traffic jams. This means that people can't get to work, so businesses close. Garbage trucks, fire trucks, police cars, and a lot of other things can't get through either, which leaves me planning in my head when I'm not playing to solve these problems.
