All we want now is...

I recently ran into a query on a social network: "what do you need this summer? What do you wish for?"

You won't believe what the answers were. At least I didn't believe it.

They said: I want winter, I want cold, I want the heat to end.

Can you imagine - in the middle of summer at that. 😃

From all these answers, I thought about the following: whether all people are really so happy and satisfied that they don't think to ask for anything but cold. I haven't read one answer that says the person needs housing, work, food or health.

And also: do we all humans continue to be so superficial that we always desire the opposite of what is right now? Or we think about the next thing and the next thing but never about the specific moment we are in - when it's summer we dream about winter, when it's winter we dream about summer, when we're at work we think about vacation when we're on vacation, we make plans for the next vacation, or think about work, when we are young, we wish we were grown up, when we are grown up, we wish we were children, etc.

It also reminded me of all those jokes about what you'd do if you caught the goldfish and it told you you had three wishes, which it would grant. What will you wish for then - cold in the summer? 😄 Come on, be a little more inventive, please 😂
