Politics And Administration

Hello everyone hope you are good.

The difference between politics and administration cannot be over emphasized, as they are being used interchangeably.

According to Williams Woodrow (1958) In his political dichotomy rule, he posited that

 <<< Politics is policy making  and administration is policy implementation>>>

Owing to this, politics is the way decisions are made and these decisions are made by people in the government, that is why structures are always set up to do this job.

A state like Nigeria has structures set for all of these, so the different structures help Nigeria in setting these policies and implemting them too.
While the legislative councils of Nigeria do politics, the executive do the administration.
For proper running of the country, these structures has to be in place.

The house of representatives and the Senate house in Nigeria made laws for us and the civil service implement these policies.

Some people believe that politics only happens during election,but everytime decisions are being made and implemented that is politics being done.
