This Forgiveness

When we preach about forgiveness is it really what we can do. It might be easy to preach forgiveness to others but being in that shoes do we try to do it.

A person had a hundred thousand in which he wanted to invest; he knew probably that investing it would yield up to 10 percent more for him. On trying to process to do that, his good friend came and explained how he needed money to sort out a bill that at month's end he would pay back from the proceeds of his business. On explaining, the man stated that he had no money and that the one at hand was for investment purposes. On the second thought, he decided to borrow it from him, as he would pay him back at month's end for him to also continue with what he wanted to use it for.

He was really happy, blessing him and making all promises to return it immediately at end of the Month.

Month end came and nothing was heard, followed by an extra week, still he didn't hear from him. He became disturbed, started calling him, and he picked up, telling him he was going to transfer at the month's end. Two months passed; he didn't hear anything and started calling, and soon his number was not going through again. He was already blocked by his friend. All messages to no avail; later on, he visited him unexpectedly, and he started insulting him about why he came all the way because he was owing him.

He left angrily and didn't return again. He wanted to confirm if he was purposely doing what he was doing and his actions already showed it.

He didn't want to ask him again and all was already a bygones.
Despite the whole scenario he has forgiven him and let everything slide.
The Man later came back begged him and payed him back that in which he owned him.

That is the True forgiveness the offender must not even beg us or ask for our forgiveness but in our minds we have forgiven them and let that pass. We bear no grudges and would not pay back evil for evil but we should be free like a bird in our dealings with others. Being free as we really know that we have nothing against one another but relating with others in good ways.

This Forgiveness should not always be at the tip of our mouths but in one way or the other we should always show it in our behaviors and dealing with one another.
One thing we should always learn is that even if they might be sorry or not we should open up our hands and forgive them and forget. Our Lord Jesus Christ did that and we should always follow his teachings and do what our master taught us to follow.
