Money for happiness???

There's no doubt that money opens door to a lot of lovelies. With cool cash, you can treat yourself to that sumptuous meal you've been craving for, build your dream house or live in that luxurious estate, buy those designer clothes, shoes and jewellery you see all over the internet, that human hair you've been admiring from your screen, have that grand wedding you so wish, go on vacations or a nice day out at glamorous locations with family and friends and even buy that million dollar Benz.

The list goes on... and to be honest, just a taste of these, I'll be over the moon.

However, someone can be richly rich but still poor as stated by a priest during church service some days ago. This simply means that having an alluring account balance is not a 💯 guarantee that someone will be happy.

Plainly speaking, money cannot buy happiness as that would be implying that people who are money-less can't be happy which is anything but true.

This is because happiness tends to spring from the littlest of things. It can be excelling in one's academics, getting a good job, lending a helping hand to someone in need or putting a smile on that sad face out there.

Those moments of little acts and achievements are where true happiness births from. Not to mention times spent with loved ones with activities as simple as dinners and light-hearted discussions.

Anyone who truly desires happiness shouldn't be hell-bent on just pursuing money. As much as money makes life much better, comfortable and grants access to lots of luxuries, there are limits to what it can achieve.

True happiness doesn't come from the thousands and millions and billions sitting in your bank account but rather, having a sense of purpose, showing little acts of kindness here and there and maintaining a good relationships with those who have your best interests at heart cause even in the midst of life's turbulences, a little act of theirs is enough to keep you pushing.
