Craving meat, defying the rules

It's just quite amusing how this prompt indirectly points to having to embrace a vegetarian dietary choice- which I had shoved to the back of my mind at the mere thought of adopting it. Despite the fact that I do think highly of the ideology behind it.

When I think of vegetarianism, the first thought or better still person, that creeps into my head is Ariana Grande...The stunning Italian female artist whom I've admired her beauty and vocals right from childhood. And to the surprise of many, I still hold her in high regards.

A whole lot of us probably have an idea of the mind-blowing transformation she attained over the past year. A quick peek into a photograph of her in the year 2020 and this current time and you would find it hard to digest the fact that you're looking right at the same person.

While a good number of people screamed vegetarianism as the major factor for her weight loss, a thorough research on my part proved it was only one of the many but I'd rather not digress...

Growing up as a child, I won't deny the fact that the addition of food accompaniments which were mostly meats, sitting pretty at a corner of the plate stirs butterflies in my belly at the mere sight of it. And still does.

To say nothing of the joyous feeling that radiates through my whole being the moment I sink my teeth into the meat, tearing, chewing and munching as the tenderness coupled with the heavenly taste catapults me to cloud nine.

Personally, I fancy all kinds of food accompaniments... Fish, egg, meat and by that I mean the likes of fowls, goats, cows, rams, turkeys, name it.
This definitely goes on to show just how much I love and avidly consume meat. The mere thought of having a taste of it is enough to make me salivate and floating with happiness, smiling from ear to ear.

Then without warning, someone in a position of authority walks up to me and places a ban on my 💯 right of meat consumption, for no justifiable cause whatsoever???

And to give the devil a reason to display his thirty-two, I happen to be the only one singled out in the entirety of the universe to live through such a nightmare...
You gotta be kidding me bruh.

So if indeed I'm not wrong, that means that I'm not allowed to have a taste of heaven cause that's definitely how I feel while consuming meat.

Without further ado, playing by such ridiculously daunting rules would be unattainable from my end. I can't even imagine taking a seat in dining room to have a meal with my family and everyone has a succulent meat part placed right in front of them while I left utterly meatless. Hell no!

Not that I can't adjust and adapt to having to live without consuming meat thanks to the unwarranted ban of course. I surely can cause as we all know, adaptability is one of the traits all humans possess.
But I won't... I choose not to and if in any case, such a ban is placed on me, my insatiable cravings for meat would compel me to defy the rules.
