A coffee with a little taste of the sun

The year 2025 is just a few days away, so I took advantage of last Saturday morning to finish buying a few things. I ended up very late and tired, so before going back home, I decided to visit a coffee shop that was in the mall where I was. Solar Coffee is a coffee shop that is almost outdoors, and it is elegant and quite nice. Its name, according to what I was told, is in honor of the sun that streams through the place during the day into the evening. There is plenty of natural lighting and best of all, they serve very delicious coffee.

The sun was already setting when I ordered two coffees, one concentrated and the other with milk. The coffee shop was decorated with a Christmas theme. Although the temperature was almost forty degrees Celsius, the breeze that was blowing around was quite refreshing. I sat near some potted plants, since from there I could better appreciate all that Solar Café had to offer to its customers. There were televisions on both sides, on which some English soccer league game was being shown. I didn't pay much attention at first because I was taking pictures. The place looks pretty nice during the day, so it must be even better at night.

In one of the spaces in the cafeteria, there was a giant Grinch. I really liked it because this Christmas ornament was inscribed with the word “Merry Grinchmas”. I love that at Solar Coffee, they also have a good sense of humor and Christmas, especially if it comes with a well-filled cup of hot coffee.

The coffees were delivered to me a few minutes later. I wasn't going to drink both cups, as I was waiting for a friend. I usually drink coffee with milk when I go to a coffee shop, or some kind of Moccacino. However, this time I preferred to drink the coffee simply, with nothing but sugar and a nice cityscape view to contemplate. The drink was delicious, without so much sugar and best of all, with enough flavor to liven up the end of the day. My friend arrived shortly after to try her latte. Luckily it was not cold; I loved the addition of chocolate for presentation.

The service at Solar Coffee is very good; they attended to us instantly and took our order, plus they offered us Wifi and invited us to sit down while they prepared the coffee. In addition to the TVs with Soccer games, there was music in the potted plants and plants where we were. I think this coffee shop is a good place for business meetings or just views with friends or family. I admit that coffee shops like this are my favorite.

Solar Coffee is a good option for lovers of more dynamic coffee shops. I really enjoyed my coffee before heading home, and my friend was pleased as well. I know it sounds strange to see the sun as the main emblem of a coffee shop, but I think in a creative way it sounds great. This visit was pleasant and full of the hot beverage I love so much, even though this time my coffee was plain.

There is no doubt that a coffee shop can change your day, especially if it is very nice. Solar Café is located in the city of Maturin, Venezuela. If you ever pass by, don't forget to ask for a very pure coffee ;-)...
