The last night of our stay at the posada in La Sierra, Cojedes (Venezuela), there was a fire. But nothing to be alarmed about, it turns out that the owner and his team made a bonfire in the patio, to have a different kind of time.

The preparations began at about 7:00 pm, little by little they were placing the wood forming a small square of several levels, then I learned that this type of fire is known as cabin fire. It has four walls and in the middle is placed the tinder that will start the fire.

After dinner, shortly after 9:00 pm, the bonfire began to burn. The night was clear and cool and the atmosphere felt pleasant. The idea was that we would sit around to share our impressions of the trip: what we had thought of the excursions, the inn, the guides, etc.

In this dynamic, whoever wanted to, could participate by giving their opinions. All the comments were positive, we really had a great time during the three days of the trip.

This bonfire to collect comments and suggestions from the guests seemed to me something very original, I hadn't seen it elsewhere, you can tell that they like what they do and seek to improve the experience of visitors every day.

The bonfire idea is genius. It's way more personal than just filling out a feedback form. Sitting by the fire under a clear night sky will just make the stories even better. That's a perfect ending in my opinion

I have read all the posts about that trip but I was waiting for the last one to tell you that:

I envy you sooo much!!!

I felt jealous of every part of it. The sunrise in the mountains, the amazing breakfast, the wonderful views, washing of the tiredness of the day in the waterfalls, even a bruise or two due to a slip on a wet rock!

I hope that you kept those heroic shocks and they are now hanging on your wall, like a valuable trophy :)

I hope you'll have many more great trips like that and you'll make us even more jealous sharing them here!

Thank you very much for your words! 😊 It's very satisfying to be read, to be envied I don't know hahahaha, but of course it's a compliment coming from someone like you, whose photographic work I admire and the way you present it 👏 ✨.

I tell you that I washed those heroic socks very well and although they did not recover their original whiteness, they are not broken, so I will take them to other adventures that I will surely share here 😃.
