Posada El Amanecer, our lodging in La Sierra, Cojedes - Venezuela [ENG-ESP]

During the three-day trip through Cojedes that I have shown in my recent posts, we stayed at the Posada Ecoturística El Amanecer, located in the village of La Sierra and offering everything you need to explore the area.

Durante el viaje de tres días por Cojedes que he mostrado en mis últimas publicaciones, nos alojamos en la Posada Ecoturística El Amanecer, ubicada en el pueblo de La Sierra y que ofrece todo lo necesario para explorar la zona.

The place is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by vegetation and great views of the mountains. When you arrive and go through the gates, you will find a large patio and the house, where the bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and bathrooms are located.

El lugar se encuentra en un bonito entorno, rodeado de vegetación y estupendas vistas a las montañas. Al llegar y atravesar sus portones, te encuentras con un gran patio y la casa, donde están las habitaciones, la cocina, el comedor y los baños.

The design of the house recreates nature, with columns in the shape of tree trunks and walls with reliefs of the same theme.

El diseño de la casa recrea la naturaleza, con columnas en forma de tronco de árboles y paredes con relieves de la misma temática.

There are also many decorative elements that give personality to the place, such as the row of quartz that greets you in the entrance area.

También hay muchos elementos decorativos que le dan personalidad al lugar, como por ejemplo la hilera de cuarzos que te reciben en la zona de entrada.

In this village you can get quartz everywhere, moving a little bit the earth at your feet, so it is a representative element of the place.

En este pueblo puedes conseguir cuarzos por todos lados, moviendo un poco la tierra a tus pies, así que es un elemento representativo del lugar.

The dining area, which has a large table, is surrounded by palm trees that provide beauty and shade.

El área del comedor, que tiene un gran mesón, está rodeada de palmeras que le dan belleza y sombra.

Let's talk about the other areas, such as the rooms, although I forgot to take pictures, there are two of them with capacity for 6 people each.

Hablemos ahora de las demás áreas, como las habitaciones, aunque olvidé tomar fotos, son dos con capacidad para 6 personas cada una.

And then there are the alternative lodging spaces, yes, because here you can also stay in a hammock or in a tent.

Y luego están los espacios del alojamiento alternativo, sí, porque acá también te puedes quedar en hamaca o en carpa.

There were no more free beds when I asked for the quota to go on this trip, so I opted to stay in my tent. I like camping and the place was well set up for this, with flat areas and lighting at night, plus in the mornings just by unzipping your tent you can see the beautiful sunrise 😊. I found the prices quite affordable, $4 per night in a room and $3 per night in a hammock or tent.

No había más camas libres cuando pedí el cupo para ir a este viaje, así que opté por quedarme en mi carpa. Me gusta acampar y el lugar estaba bien acondicionado para esto, con zonas planas e iluminación en la noche, además en las mañanas con sólo abrir el cierre de tu carpa puedes ver el hermoso amanecer 😊. Los precios me parecieron bastante asequibles, $4 por noche en habitación y $3 por noche en hamaca o carpa.

Apart from lodging, the inn also offers breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request, and most importantly, the guides to the tourist sites in the surrounding area, such as the ones I showed you in my previous posts: Tetas de Tinaquillo, El Guaical, El Mirador de La Sierra, Rio Llano and many more.

Aparte del alojamiento, la posada también ofrece desayunos, almuerzos y cenas a petición de las personas, y lo más importante, las guiaturas a los lugares turísticos que se encuentran en sus alrededores, como los que les mostré en mis anteriores publicaciones: Tetas de Tinaquillo, El Guaical, El Mirador de La Sierra, Río Llano y muchos más.

Below I show you more areas of the inn, I walked around to see the whole place, there are some parts that are under construction. I really liked its native atmosphere, the typical village simplicity.

A continuación les muestro más áreas de la posada, di mis vueltas para conocer todo el lugar, hay algunas partes que están en construcción. Me gustó mucho su ambiente autóctono, la sencillez típica de pueblo.

One of the things I liked the most about this lodge was the attention of its owners, Douglas Rodríguez and his team, who make sure that visitors have a good time in all aspects: transportation, lodging, food, guiding, etc.

Una de las cosas que más me gustó de esta posada fue la atención de sus dueños, Douglas Rodríguez y todo su equipo, quienes se encargan de que los visitantes la pasen bien en todos los aspectos: transporte, alojamiento, alimentación, guiatura, etc.

La Sierra is attracting more travelers every day, and that's why the people who are dedicated to tourism here, work to make sure that visitors take away an unforgettable experience, with us they achieved it 😊.
