Con una vieja Polaroid - Concurso TBT: una foto, una historia, un día de esos [ESP-ENG]

Toparme con algo interesante cuando no me lo esperaba, siempre es agradable, como este día hace varios años cuando por razones de trabajo visité la Biblioteca Nacional de Venezuela, en la Av. Panteón de Caracas. Terminé lo que tenía que hacer y me dijeron que había una exhibición de cámaras antiguas en una de las salas de la institución, y como amante de la fotografía por supuesto que fui a verla.

Entre los muchos modelos de cámaras que había, la que más me llamó la atención fue la Polaroid que les muestro en la foto. Como muchos sabrán, la marca Polaroid es la pionera de la fotografía instantánea, Edwin Land la inventó en la década de 1940. En una época en la que había que esperar mucho tiempo para ver unas fotos reveladas, obtener la impresión de las imágenes en pocos minutos fue toda una revolución y por eso las cámaras de esta marca se volvieron tan populares.

La que ven en la foto es una Polaroid Miniportrait, un modelo de 1978 fabricado en Japón. Con sus 4 objetivos para obtener 4 imágenes a la vez, era más que todo utilizada en estudios fotográficos para hacer fotos de carné, para pasaportes y otros documentos personales, ¿la conocían?
