Abandoned at the zoo | Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]

It was a weekday and the zoo parking lot was empty because most people usually come here on Saturdays and Sundays. As the outside walls are painted with animals, when we finished our visit we also went there to see the art, noticing that at the end, over there in the background, there was an old parked car.

Era día entre semana y el estacionamiento del zoológico estaba vacío porque la mayoría de la gente suele venir a este lugar los sábados y domingos. Como las paredes externas están pintadas con animales, al terminar nuestra visita fuimos también allí para ver el arte, notando que al final, por allá en el fondo, se veía un viejo carro estacionado.

As we approached we confirmed that the car was not only old, it was also abandoned, had some dust accumulated in several parts and its tires were flat. As you can see it is a Mercedes-Benz, and parked there under a leafy tree, it looked extremely attractive to photograph.

Al acercarnos confirmamos que el carro no sólo era viejo, también estaba abandonado, tenía algo de polvo acumulado en varias partes y sus cauchos estaban desinflados. Como ven es un Mercedes-Benz, y estacionado allí debajo de un frondoso árbol, lucía sumamente atractivo para fotografiar.

Later I did some research on the Internet and this model could be the W114 or W115, manufactured between 1968 and 1976. Despite the years it didn't look too bad, the paint on the roof and front end was a bit worn, but it still had some shine to its soft brown color.

Investigué luego en Internet y este modelo podría ser el W114 o el W115, fabricado entre 1968 y 1976. A pesar de los años no lucía tan mal, tenía la pintura del techo y la parte delantera algo desgastada, pero aún se veía con algo de brillo su color marrón suave.

Old cars always catch my attention, that's why I took a few minutes to photograph this and share it here.

Los carros antiguos siempre llaman mi atención, por eso me tomé unos minutos para fotografiar este ejemplar y compartirlo por aquí.
