A walk with red splendor / Un paseo con esplendor rojo

Yesterday I took a fairly long walk around the city, about 6 km, and I found around there some pictures of nature that I liked to photograph and that's what I come to show here.

Ayer hice una caminata bastante larga por la ciudad, más o menos unos 6 km, y me encontré por ahí con estampas de la naturaleza que me gustaron para fotografiar y es lo que vengo a mostrar aquí.

Passing by a residential street, a climbing plant was sticking out of a house, and when I got closer and looked at it, it turned out to be a grapevine, something that is not so common to see in the courtyards here. The best part is that a bunch of grapes was hanging there towards the street, but it was very high and I couldn't reach it.

Al pasar por una calle residencial, de una casa sobresalía una planta trepadora, y cuando me acerqué y la miré resulta que era una parra, algo que no es tan común de ver en los patios aquí. Lo mejor es que un racimo de uvas estaba allí colgando hacia la calle, pero estaba muy alto y no lo pude alcanzar.

My walk continued to a park, the last time I visited it, about a month ago, the vegetation was quite dry, but a few days ago the rains started and I wanted to go inside to see what it looks like now.

Mi paseo continuó hasta un parque, la última vez que lo visité, hace como un mes, la vegetación estaba bastante seca, pero hace unos días comenzaron las lluvias y quise entrar para ver su aspecto actual.

As soon as you crossed the entrance gate you could see a lot of greenery, and a splendid tree with red flowers stood out among the rest.

Apenas cruzando la puerta de entrada ya se veía mucho verdor, y un espléndido árbol con flores rojas resaltaba entre todo lo demás.

And of course, I focused on it, I took pictures of it from far away, close up, under its branches... in short, it bewitched me.

Y claro, en él me enfoqué, le tomé fotos de lejos de cerca, debajo de sus ramas... en fin, me hechizó.

This beautiful tree is a red Acacia (Delonix regia), and although its origin is very distant, the island of Madagascar, in Venezuela it has been planted everywhere, and at this time of the year its flowers impact the landscape.

Este hermoso árbol es una Acacia roja (Delonix regia), y aunque su origen es bien lejano, la isla de Madagascar, en Venezuela ha sido sembrado por todas partes, y en esta época del año sus flores impactan el paisaje.

Although most of the time I was looking up, there were things going on on the ground as well, ants were very active around their burrows, and the acacia flowers looked very photogenic down there.

Aunque la mayor parte del tiempo estuve mirando hacia arriba, en el suelo también pasaban cosas, las hormigas estaban muy activas alrededor de sus madrigueras, y las flores de la acacia se veían muy fotogénicas allí abajo.

Also striking about this tree are its fern-like leaves and its fruit, long, flat pods that hang from the branches.

También llama la atención en este árbol sus hojas parecidas a las de los helechos y sus frutos, largas vainas planas que cuelgan de las ramas.

The sun was quite powerful while I was taking these photos, just before noon, but the Red Acacia is African, knows about it and gives good shade, so this did not affect me.

El sol estaba bastante potente mientras hacía estas fotos, justo antes del mediodía, pero la Acacia roja es africana, sabe de eso y da buena sombra, así que esto no me afectó.

I finished the visit to the park and went on my way, then I thought I must have picked some of the fruits that were on the ground, I would love to try to get them to germinate and be able to plant one of these colorful trees somewhere. I'll be back these days to take some seeds with me 😊.

Terminé la visita al parque y seguí mi camino, luego pensé en que debí recoger alguno de los frutos que estaban en el suelo, me encantaría intentar que germinen y poder sembrar uno de estos coloridos árboles en algún lugar. Volveré en estos días para llevarme algunas semillas 😊.
