All Nadia's attention was drawn to the elegant beauty she saw, she was perplexed at the glowing beauty of the whole building. Her parents had just moved out of the Ireland to the main land as she had always wished. With gratitude in her heart she streamed with joy.
All her siblings weren't really moved, they wanted to stay in the Ireland after all the house in the mainland was also beautiful and cool. The only difference was the calibers of persons staying in those places. yet they never worried about that, except for Nadia, who always thought she deserved to be among those caliber of persons. Some of her friends had moved in to the mainland and stopped talking or interacting to her, due to the fact that she was still in the Ireland. They felt she was no longer part of their class, hence they now stayed at the most ruling, expensive and happening part of Lagos.
All Nadia had always wanted was for them to move into the mainland, just to meet up to the class of her friends and seeing herself on the mainland actually made her feel as a queen.
She got irritated at her siblings for not been happy coming to the mainland, in the other hand Nadia's siblings had always wanted just been them, without the spraying of money, the flashy cars, and attentions that came with been a big mans kid. Obviously she and her siblings where really world apart on want and many other things.
Before the week went to an end, all Nadia's social media handles where apparently showed every nock and cranny of the new house. She had went on to brag with even the couch in the house.

what in Gods name is wrong with you Nadia? Moan her elder sister had asked her after she put off the TV set just to make a video of the parlor, can't you see am watching a program? Nadia only made a mockery laugh and walked away, continuing what she's doing without even blinking her eyes or having a sign of remorse over what she did. Moan was boiling, but she respected herself and walked out, to avoid issues or quarrel with her kid sister.
When their parents returned home, Moan calmly reported her to their parents, stating clearly things she had endured from her kid sister since they moved into the new house. There parents was furious and called Nadia to order. There mom clearly stated that Nadia had no right to look down on her elder sister talk more of disrespecting her, you can't disrespect your sister whose your senior by eight years and expect me to be calm her mom said. After much reprimanding from their parents Nadia apologized and it was sorted out. But that did not stop her from bragging with the fact that her parents had wealth and that was why moving into the mainland was not tough for them. She peppered everyone on internet, she stopped interaction with most of her friends and even went ahead to break up with her fiancee claiming that, he's no longer part of her caliber. Dan just laughed, even though he was hurt, you called a quit to a three years relationship leading to marriage simply because you had moved to the mainland you feel you're now in heaven her dad bluntly told her. I haves two daughters you and Moan, your elder sister came here just for holiday you trampled on her right simply because you feel she married a nobody. Mr. Steven told her . Don't cry when the head gets cuts off.
All advice from brothers and even Moan her sisters proved abortive, it practically fell on an empty soil, she practically had a mind of her own and the family allowed her to live with it. Hence she was prone not to take advice.
On a faithful day, she had gone shopping as usual when she men Temi, one of the big boys on Lagos mainland, before the world screamed Jack, Nadia and Temi had started dating, she loved the expensive lifestyles that came with being Temi's girl. She enjoyed every attention she got, until when she fell ill.
All her friends deserted her except for Dan and Omolara, who came when they heard she was critically ill. Mr. Steve spent millions of naira trying to save his daughter, but it all proved abortive. It turned out that Temi was involved in many dubious attitude and had used part of Nadia for ritual, which had led to her being paralyzed at the lower limb. Mr. Steve was disappointed on hearing the prophecy from the mountain they went to pray. He was asked to bring Nadia to the mountain and on her arrival the prophet said she should just keep pleading for mercy. That it was her only way out of her predicament, he bluntly told her she had caused whatever she was going through to her self and hence only Gods mercy could help her out. After few months of intense prayers from she, family members and loved once who stayed. God came through, she regained her legs and could walk, she started making restitution hence she had seen that being in the mainland or Ireland guarantees no safety only God could. She started using the stories of AK wrongs she had done to teach others, for them not to fall into such problems it situation as she had.
Dan forgave her and the preparation for that traditional wedding was fixed, at the point Nadia woke up, and discovered that her life had just been played before her as a dream, she got corrected without stress.
When she got out of bed to explain her dreams to her mom for further clarification, her Mom announced that, she and her cousins staying with them should prepare, that they would be going to see the new house in the mainland before the payments for the house would be made, she started sweating. On noticing her sudden change of mood Mrs. Steve asked her what was wrong and she obviously didn't waste time in tell in them she was no longer interested in going to the mainland. Hence she was getting married few weeks to come. Knowing fully well that Nadia had rained brimstones on her siblings to stay in their homes and not interfere with their parents since all of them where married, just because they refused the idea of their parents moving into the mainland. Mrs. Steve had to inquire more on eh changed.
On hearing her dream, Mr. and Mrs. Steve admonished and told her it was the damage to happen that she was warned on, the went on to advice her cousins on the reward of humbleness and self sufficiency.
