How are you Hiving? Can I nudge you towards the new SlothBuzz website? It's #TTTuesday! !
Good evening buzzers! Happy Tuesday! The weeks seem to fly by these days! Well, it's time for me to catch up with my #Discoverweekly playlist on Spotify and see if I can find some songs for #ThreeTuneTuesday!

Well, to be honest, I've already pulled two songs into my work playlist! So I'm sure we'll find a third! The first was 'Every mickle makes a muckle' by A Path Less Known. Give it a list, do you understand much of it? He's blethering some good ole' Scottish right there!
However, this wasn't the reason I started this post! Today I wanted to ask about your Hiving habits!
Wasn't there a way to do a poll? I think Leo Threads offered it. (Seems it's not working for me, so scrapping that idea!) Any of the other short-form platforms? I guess that brings us nicely onto the topic either way. Leave a comment to share your feedback/experience!
How do you Hive?

Where do you use Hive?

First things first, what 'front end' do you use, and why?
Ececncy, Peakd, InLeo, An outpost, or maybe even the new SlothBuzz site? I know it's still flying under the radar, but it's soon going to be buzzing to the forefront of Hive! Sloth steps!
Is there a specific reason you use it? A certain feature? Rewards? The layout? Or is it simply the only front-end you know/are used to?
Song break! #TTT number 2
Town of Ballybay, a ringadingadong! (It was the 'Ennis brothers' version on Spotify, but I like this even more rustic video!
What's your main use of Hive?
Are you here to Game, Create blogs/videos or share photography? Maybe you're just a social butterfly enjoying being paid for your time commenting and engaging? Are you simply here to 'earn'. Do you focus on reading blogs or short-form content?
Basically, where is most of your time on Hive spent? Any suggestions for things that would make it better/easier?
What layout do you enjoy most on Hive?
| More with less? | Less is more? | I want it all? |
|---|---|---|

Peakd's different layouts for reference. Or would you prefer something a little different?
Here's the 'first iteration' of the SlothBuzz site. When you land, you're greeted with a nie big display, with some extras on the side for quick navigation, based on your following.

Scrolling down, we can see 'videos' posted to 3speak, and a wider variety of posts, this time based off what's trending.

Finally, some 'game information' in your own customised Gamefolio and a breakdown of different categories/topics from around Hive.

There are still some tweaks to come. But for now, this is our first run out! What do you think? What's your favourite view? Could you be swayed into using the Slothbuzz site more often? What other features/services would you like to see? (Personally, I think there should be more of a #slothbuzz focus, but I may be biased)
Finally, short form? How/Where do you consume it?
Peakd/Ecency/Inleo browser? Snapie app? Ecency shortform app?
Can we sway you into using SlothBuzz for that too?
Check out SlothBuzz Hangs to hang with the sloths and create a buzz! When posting from Hangs, you can post directly to the Hang's container or to any other short-form container. Best of all, your threads/snaps/waves will be shown through the 'core' container for each short form. So Inleo post will be posted directly to threads etc!

Rounding up with song three for #TTT
Boom Shak a Lak! A song made for #Slothbuzz, surely?
Well, that's it for now, don't forget to drop a comment and share 'how you hive!'
Until next time,
Sloth out!

I use peakd on my PC and the Ecency app on my phone as they are just what I am used to. I did have InLeo open a while back on the PC, but have not looked at it lately. Snaps is my preferred short form and has a nice mix of posts. I find Threads and Waves have a different flavour.
I am mainly a blogger, but I do watch some videos. Most of my posts these days are of my running via @strava2hive. I would blog more if I had the time.
I think Hive ought to have something for every taste as the platform is neutral and people can form their own communities. There will be aspects that I hardly see, but they could be big in their own way. That's fine.

That's the goal we're aiming for at SlothBuzz. Our new site has a nice mix of everything. Showing content from communities as well as your following/hot topics etc. Hopefully, we'll add more customisation over time.
I'm pretty similar; I use Peakd at home and Ecency on the go. Hangs is, of course, my new favourite short-form, having access to all, and being able to post to all is a great bonus. Sloth steps, but we're moving the site in the right direction.
Have you had the chance to check out the slothbuzz site? Any suggestions/feedback is appreciated, still in early development and we're aware of some issues/bugs, but it's moving forward day by day.
Just having a look at slothbuzz. It has a different vibe to the others and it takes time to adapt. The design is impressive. Is Hangs your own type of short form?
I am not sure it is great to have all these separate feeds, but I can see why projects do it. It just divides up the community. What I really want is a combined feed of those I choose to follow. I need to optimise the time I spend online and not get too distracted by random stuff. That's one reason I'm looking at Facebook less.
Yeah, we've some layout things to tidy up, make it a little more like the other front ends for ease of use. Hangs is our short form area, yes, just starting to make a buzz, it should grow with time. We've also worked on the ability to use all other short-form and appear on their native frontends, Leo, Snapie, Peakd, Ecency, Ecency etc.
We'll take your thoughts into consideration. I don't believe any other front-end has a similar design with 'grouped' posts based on communities on one page. I may be mistaken. So you can see more in less time, although I appreciate some users enjoy having 'one feed' with all content. We're looking into customisation abilities, so maybe we'll have a method that suits everyone's needs eventually.

BEER.Hey @slothlydoesit, here is a little bit of
BEERfrom @steevc for you. Enjoy it!Did you know that <a href='https://dcity.io/cityyou can use BEER at dCity game to buy cards to rule the world.
i use ecency classic editor for posting on pc ,and only post short messages / waves on the ecency app.
peakd i only use to check on someones witness votes or https://primersion.com/witnesses or https://hive.arcange.eu/witnesses/ depends on the info i'm looking for ;)
Seems to be a similar pattern for most. I guess each front end / app has their use case. I wonder if one day someone could conquer all the necessities and have everything on one place.
same reason we still use windows on desktop and linux on servers i guess ,not everything works with one yet .
oh yeah and this every now and then with youtube ..
Hmm interesting, shows up for me. I have seen 'this video is restricted in your location' once or twice. Technology is great. When it works haha!
I am using mostly leothreads on PC and peakd too. I wanted to write long form post but saturday savers is now gone. I may consider slotlysavers for my 1st long form post. But I am lazy so mostly leothreads is where I am sticking. I also checked slothbuzz and its cool frontend love how it has shorts, long form content, kind of like ecency vibes.
The #SlothlySavers is open at any time, even for those of us who sloth a little more than others! Make a quick post or simply comment on the weekly slothlysavers post from @slothbuzz to participate.
The SlothBuzz site is awesome, and the dev keeps bringing more to it! It's still in it's infancy but I hope it will be better than Ecency/peakd/Leo one day! Sloth steps! We've still many steps to take!
We look forward to welcoming all to #slothlysavers! We're pretty chill, clues in the name, sloth!
