Just Living Together
Buddies for Life
The little one is named Pancho. He is twice her age, well over 10 years old, and he could easily be eaten by her but she won't do that. There were ever a scuffle between them I would separate them to avoid that from happening again. There never has been though. She might be just returning the favor which I will get to in the next paragraph.

The bigger one is a python and she's albino. If she were not and albino her color would be not too far away from his. She has to be about 7 years old now and when she first got her, Pancho could have eaten two of her. I was nervous about putting them together and watched them intently for hours ready to split them up if they fought or if one got hungry and ate the other.

As much as reptiles can possibly love one another, these guys are great buddies. they have been living together for very long time and I'm glad they are able to. Aside from being different species, they're also very different in their eating habits and their mannerisms.
They are very difficult to photograph. I mean, I can take a picture of them at any time but being able to capture them when they do something fun, like putting their heads together, is a fleeting moment. When they are out they are the epitome of constant motion although very slow. They are not as slow as snails or turtles, although I think a turtle might beat them if the turtle was trying to go for food or something.
In the sunlight, their skin is luminescent with a rainbow inside every scale and every one of their scales combined with the others makes a variety of rainbow colors. I have tried to capture that, but they move and the moment is lost.
It might be a good idea to take a video and then take snapshots from the video in order to get their best poses.

I just had them out today and thought of a bunch of things that I felt about them and I thought I would post.
Greetings 🤗 what curious pets. Albino pythons are gorgeous and quite calm, outside of what you may think.
