I still haven't understand how this HSBI works. Question: is it a token that can be traded or it's just something to get upvotes on posts?

TLDR: I send hive to @steembasicincome with a name in the memo (they use the HIVE to powerup so that they can upvote long form content). As the sponsor I receive 1 unit and the sponsored receives 1 unit. Each unit accrues a small amount of value daily (the more units the faster your accrual value). Once your account accrues enough value (something like $0.03) then steembasicincome or one of their alt accounts (such as sbi2, sbi3, etc.) automatically upvotes your Long Form post after 5 minutes or so.
It's a good idea. I like it.
