Sales Reports Feb 06- Stale Inventory Moving out

Yesterday was a much better day after a rough stretch, and honestly we needed it.
On eBay, we had a couple solid sales. One was the last parts record player we had sitting — these are one of our favorite pickups. We usually grab them for around $5, and even when they don’t work, part-out and repair buyers are always there. The other sale was an N64 game. We let it go for a little less than we wanted, but at this point we’d rather move inventory and keep cash flowing than sit on it waiting for a perfect number.

Poshmark really popped yesterday with 5 sales. One was a Polo bomber jacket we paid $8 for. It sold slightly under what we hoped, but right in line with average comps — and again, moving inventory matters more than squeezing every dollar.

One big thing we’ve noticed lately is that low-dollar items need to move or get bundled. Sitting on $10–$15 items just isn’t worth it. Bundles might sell for a bit less per item, but moving 4–5 pieces at once beats watching singles sit for weeks.
We leaned heavily into clothing over the last few months because it was easy to source and it paid the bills when things were tight — and that mattered. But clothing is slow, title-heavy, and trend-dependent. You can do everything right and still wait.
Going forward, we’re shifting back toward more hard goods:
Electronics, parts, media, toys, and games. Stuff people actively search for and buy without overthinking.
Clothing still has a place — but only great pieces.
Hard goods are the bread and butter that actually keep cash moving.
