WOO - My Take on Sami Zayn's WrestleMania 40 Opportunity
Greetings everyone and welcome back to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
I have just been reading about Sami Zayn, a wrestler who is scheduled to take part in WrestleMania 40, and how he feels about the forthcoming contest.
I was reflecting on how we all have moments of gratitude for the opportunities we get even if they may not be exactly what we are looking forward to.
Do you see why he is grateful for his place in WrestleMania? He isn’t up against its main event this time around, yet he’s glad to fight Gunther for the Intercontinental championship.
It is like being picked as one of the players in a game; you might not be the captain or star but it’s always exciting to be part of it
Zayn had talked about wrestling at WrestleMania last year in a big match and now he is in another kind of match but is still thankful.
It’s like when you have the most fantastic day at a park, and then on your next visit there maybe all rides aren’t there for you but its good to be out again feeling that sunshine with your friends.
He said something about being happy with where he is right now, even though he isn’t in the main event.
This is just like playing a board game when maybe the highest number was not rolled by you but hey! You are moving forward and having fun along the way.
What Zayn meant was how to stand against Gunther, who held Intercontinental Champion title for too long. It reminds one of playing against skilled opponents whereby even if you lose, you’re thrilled by the competitive spirit and chance to get better.
He also mentioned how things move fast in wrestling, just like they do in life. Sometimes we have to keep up with changes and new opportunities, and that can be exciting but also a little bit scary.
It’s like riding your bike on unknown terrains whereby you must pedal hard regardless of what lies ahead of you next.
Zayn is saying how he’s thrilled for the match even though it doesn’t look like this would be the biggest one in WrestleMania. It’s like this time we are at a party, you’re not necessarily dancing in the middle of the room but rather just sitting down with friends and enjoying music.
He reportedly talked about having to sign a contract with Gunther, which I can only imagine must be intense.
It’s kind of like when you have to sign a contract for something important and even though it might give you slight butterflies, but you know that it’s all part of the process.
So yeah, Sammy Zane talking about his thoughts on his WrestleMania match got me thinking: You should always be humble enough to appreciate what comes your way because life does not work out as planned.
That journey is incomplete without its unexpected touchstones which are forever memorable.
