Death can sometimes mean something that is good to us. To a person who fears God, death does not mean something bad to him.

Death tells us that judgement is coming. This is a very important issue which should not be ignored. Those who ignored this are only doing so to their own detriment. We should respond to this out of wisdom. As the Bible says that it is appointed unto man once to die, it also informs us that judgement is inevitable. We cannot escape judgement. We will be judged by God. Our works and life on earth will be examined and the due rewards will be mated out.

Death does not mean something bad to a believer in Jesus Christ. The one who believes in Jesus Christ has seen and accepted the way to true salvation. Those who do not believe in Jesus Christ are still far away from the salvation of God. When we receive into our hearts, we are sure that we will end well after death. So, death does not alarmed a christian is something bad.

Death tells us that God is the ultimate controller of life. There is no one or any creature which has the power over its life. Everyone will die. It is only God who does not die. So, death teaches us submission to the will of God. It teaches us to obey the instructions of God because we do not have the power over our lives.
