Religion is the act of worshipping God. Religion teaches us to reverence and know God. We use religion to know about the existence of God. Religion is all about the worship of deities. We all have the longing in us towards worshiping God. We are not satisfied that we do not know God. There is an emptiness in every one that is yearning for God. It is this concept that makes people to pursue spiritual powers. It is because we cannot be sufficient on our own outside God, that is why we need God.

We need religion. There is no argument on that. There is no way we would have known religion if we should not have studied about God. Religion opened our eyes to the understanding of God. Some people may have the problem of believing in God. It is because of the horrible situations which they have passed through in the hands of some of the followers of so-called gods. No matter what the situation is, there is the true God. The true God is the one who created the universe.

Religion has different kinds and forms. Understanding the true religion is what we should desire. We should not deny the existence of religion because religion exists. There are many false religions. Some of the cultures do not believe in the true God of the Bible. There are still others who choose not to believe in anything like God. The true religion is the church of Jesus Christ which He established in the Bible.
