The commandments of God sometimes seems too hard for us to obey. Why is it so? It is because our flesh constantly and continually war against our spirit. The spirit wants to do the will of God but the flesh does not want to obey the laws of God. We feel unwilling to obey the commandments of God. This is why many of us do not represent God in the right way. We claim to be the followers of God but we do not obey his commandments.

The disciples of Jesus Christ are only disciples because they obey His commandments. Anyone who does not obey his commandments is like those that the Lord said he will tell them: I do not know you. We must obey the commandments of God whether it pleases us or not. We must live out whatever we are learning from the Bible.

Those who do not obey the commandments of God are false brethren. There are the disciples who only follow God because of what they want to eat. They serve their belly not God. True disciples are those who obey the commandments of God in totality.
