Only Prayers Alone Is Not Enough. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

God does not do everything for us. This is not in terms of God's ability. But that we might understand that before we could get some of the things which we are expecting from God, we ourselves have certain responsibilities to undertake. We cannot just sit down and what when we are expecting the blessings of God. We need to do our part in working out that which we want from God.

Prayers call out for the help of God to assist us in our times of need. We should pray, it is very important. As a christian, we must know how to talk to our heavenly Father and communicate our challenges to him. Those who don't know how to pray can't build a viable relationship with God. So, let us learn to pray. Let us practice the habit of praying committedly.

There are several challenges in this world. We cannot survive all these without calling on God. We really need the help of God to handle the pressures of life that are coming to us. But we must know that after we pray we must believe that what we are asking for, God is able to do it for us. The Lord Jesus Christ told us that when we pray, we should believe that we have received what we are asking for. Prayer without faith is dead and faith without work is equally dead.

Well, I would disagree with you that doing everything for us "is not in terms of God's ability," as in that case God would have limited ability or power. Following that, it would also be very questionable what kind of god that is, then?!

In my eyes, God has unlimited abilities and power! Therefore, I would rather say that doing everything for us might not be part of his plan and accordingly not his will.
And that's something entirely different from being unable to do this or that. Right?!

Regarding all the rest, I can agree with you. I would just like to add one thing I noticed throughout my life.
Sometimes, on certain occasions and due to certain circumstances, we tend to pray for this or that, thinking it would be the best solution for us, the whole unhappy or bad situation, etc. But actually, many times it's not like that. Why? - Simply because we can't see the future, and we don't have the whole picture, just a fragment, or even only one puzzle of it.

I'll give you an example...
I was rushing through the city to get to the institution where I had to do some things before the deadline. Thousands of thoughts and prayers like: "Oh God, let me help get there on time and solve that issue." went through my mind while I was trying to reach my destination, driving as fast as I could.
While I was standing at one of the traffic lights on my way, another car suddenly hit my car. We had to pull aside, call the police, and follow the rest of the procedure, which took plenty of time. In other words, I no longer had a chance to get to that institution on time. That also meant I would have to pay some penalties for not doing what I had to on time. At first glance, it looked like God didn't rush to help me. Quite the contrary, instead of just one issue to solve, I had four: the thing in the institution, penalties, proving to police that I didn't cause the car accident, and repairing my car. Seemingly, everything was four times worse.
But, was it?! Guess what!?! Fifteen minutes after my car accident, at the time when I would already be in the building of that institution if that car crash hadn't happened, an explosion occurred in the institution's building, with lots of casualties, some of whom even had a fatal outcome.
So, at the end, did God rush to help me?! Oh, YES! He did! He did, very much! If he didn't send this blessed "fool" who hit me without reason, I would end up heavily injured or even dead.
On this particular occasion, I was blessed with knowledge and understanding of why all of it happened as it did, very soon. But it's not always like that. Sometimes it takes months, years, or even decades to realize and understand why God lets us walk through thorny paths, lonely deserts, and many troubles. Sometimes, it's to teach us something, and sometimes it's just to save us from something much worse. 😊
