Obedience To The Will Of God. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

Doing the will of God, that is our primary assignment as the believers in Jesus Christ. Followers follow. Who are we following as the followers of Jesus Christ? We are following the Lord Jesus Christ himself. Following the Lord means that we will be obedient to His words. The words of the Lord Jesus Christ are the same as the commandments of God. We should not be obedient to the words of our Master if we are truly His followers. As the followers of Jesus Christ obedience to the doctrines of Jesus Christ is our obligation. We are obligated to obey that. We should not walk against the Word of God. We should not disobey the commandments of God. The proof of true followership is total obedience to the Master.

Anyone who does not obey the commandments of God is an enemy of God. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Lord God Almighty. We should not go against His will in anyway. He loves us so dearly. God would not ask us to do anything that will be hurtful to us. Trusting in the Lord is a profitable thing. Obeying the commandments of God makes one at peace with Him. It is not good for anyone to walk in disagreement to the word of God. Our God is a jealous God. He is a consuming fire. He can consume those who refuses to obey His commandments.

To be able to do the will of God, we need to study the Word of God. The Bible contains the commandments of God for our lives. When we understand what the Bible teaches us, we will be able to do the will of God. So, listening to the teachings of the commandments of God is vital for a man to be able to do the will of God.
